THE LATE APRIL 2009 PUBLIC-INFORMATION REQUEST FROM CRIMINAL-LAW COMPLAINANT JOHN KEVIN McMILLAN OF AUSTIN, TEXAS, THAT APPARENTLY PROMPTED AUSTIN POLICE CHIEF ART ACEVEDO TO REQUEST THAT Mr. McMILLAN NEVER AGAIN SEND THE CHIEF ANY CARBON-COPIES ON ANY FUTURE PUBLIC-INFORMATION REQUESTS

(Editor's Note: At 12:57 p.m. on April 28, 2009, Stephanie Hernandez in the Office of the Chief of Police of the City Government of Austin, made a phone call to the private residence of criminal-law complainant John Kevin McMillan of Austin. She then left a voice-mail phone message asking Mr. McMillan to call her back. Later that afternoon, Ms. Hernandez stated to complainant John Kevin McMillan on the telephone that Austin Police Chief Art Acevedo has requested that Mr. McMillan refrain, among other things, from ever sending APD Chief Acevedo any future carbon-copies on any future public-information request that Mr. McMillan might ever submit to any public official or government-owned entity.

The current official E-mail address of Austin Police Chief Art Acevedo in 2016 is: art.acevedo@austintexas.gov. APD Chief Art Acevedo in Austin, Texas, is a former high-ranking official of the California Highway Patrol in that far-western U.S. state bordering the Pacific Ocean.--- jkm)

Dear Mr. McMillan,

This is a Texas Open Records request in which I seek to obtain from your State of Texas agency in Austin a photocopy of any and all letters, reports, memoranda, computer records, E-mail correspondence, handwritten notes, printed documents, legal actions, available transcripts of audiotapes or videotapes, telephone records, or any other items, that refer to myself, John Kevin McMillan, in any context or any way, and that, in each such case:

(1) at any time since January 1, 1997, were received or produced or generated or compiled or stored or sent or authored or written by any employee or official employed in the office of the Executive Director of the Texas Commission on the Arts state agency, including the Executive Director himself;

(2) contained or referred to actions taken or to items for planned discussion or to proposed action that had been placed on the agenda of any of the Texas Commission on the Arts meetings----including any items discussed or acted upon during any executive sessions of that commission-----that were held at any time since January 1, 1997.

My legal name is John Kevin McMillan. I was born at Lincoln, Nebraska, on April 27, 1957. My social security number is ....

I have resided in Austin proper ever since mid-March of 1997, most recently.

I am submitting this Open Records request to your state agency partly because I have heard numerous rumors in Austin that some State of Texas agency has reportedly had some alleged involvement in alleged impingements upon my own privacy rights, such as through alleged electronic surveillance or alleged audiotaping or alleged videotaping of myself, or through alleged verbalized communications to myself or alleged "educational services" inflicted on myself or alleged noise pollution and verbal harassment and verbal abuse inflicted on myself against my wishes that I definitely do not want or need.

I myself am not employed by or affiliated with any arts and entertainment institution or organization or any arts-and-entertainment business entity, as I'm sure your state agency is already very aware.

Thank you in advance for your prompt and very diligent response to this Open Records request from myself.

Sincerely and Best Wishes,

John Kevin McMillan,

11411 Research Boulevard, Apt. 325, Austin, Texas, 78759.
