I would welcome any and all follow-up phone calls from Mr. Grossack about any aspect of this legal correspondence of today.

Dear fellow natives of Nebraska,

I would appreciate it if either of your two respective very influential political party organizations or officials in my native state of Nebraska would be willing to share the following (attached) E-mail correspondence of mine with the current Governor of Nebraska.

I am making this request because my most recent E-mail transmission attempt on my letter (please note my letter to University of Southern California Senior Vice President Martha Harris) has failed, from what I learned this morning for the first time when I received a notice on that at my E-mail inbox.

Sincerely and Best Wishes,

Dear University of Nebraska-Lincoln President Milliken and Lincoln Mayor Chris Beutler,

I am a native of Lincoln, Nebraska, whose father, Dr. Calvin McMillan, was a Botany Department faculty member at The University of Nebraska at Lincoln in the 1950s.

Since I have done a lot of public-policy-minded brainstorming since the mid-1990s that I have shared with your noble state through various letters of mine I've sent to officials of the University of Nebraska, the State of Nebraska, and the City of Lincoln, I am very hopeful that you will both be interested in the issues cited and alluded to below (see attached letter from myself).

A written reply letter from either or both of you in regard to any aspect of this public-policy-minded correspondence from myself, much of it relating to noise pollution and accompanying privacy-rights violations, would be greatly appreciated.

Sincerely and Best Wishes,

John Kevin McMillan,

Dear Senior Vice President Harris at the University of Southern California in Los Angeles,

As I'm sure you must already be painfully aware, noise pollution in modern American society---often accompanied by the crime of verbal harassment featuring profane speech and the crime of stalking, and by privacy rights violations, I might add---poses an alarming threat to the medical and emotional health of millions of Americans (including, I might add, this particular single adult male resident of Austin, Texas).

Here in my southwestern American capital city of Austin, Texas, my first-rate ear, nose, and throat specialist, Dr. David N. Tobey, Jr., M.D., who has examined my hearing capacity and my ears over a multi-year period, has determined inside his medical clinic in northwest Austin that noise pollution outdoors in Austin, Texas----including, he also informed me in January of this year, noise pollution occurring at one or more of my respective workplaces of mine in Austin-----has contributed to statistically significant permanent damage to my own hearing capacity, Dr. Tobey has informed me.

Dr. Tobey very kindly and courageously permitted me to sign a written authorization form, which gave that outstanding medical physician my prior approval to himself share his medical findings about me with any person, including any medical researcher or university administrator or staff member or professor legal scholar or attorney anywhere in the world, or any university or other entity anywhere in the world, including any media company or religious group or political group or business entity, that or who might ever contact the distinguished Dr. Tobey at any time and request that factual medical information about myself from Dr. Tobey.

Dr. David Tobey's office phone number in Austin, Texas, is: (512) 346-5562.

The FAX number for Dr. Tobey's medical clinic is: (512) 346-8846.

The address of Dr. David Tobey's medical clinic is: 11623 Angus Road, Suite 20, Austin, Texas, 78759.

Senior Vice President Harris, I am also writing to ask you today if you happen to know of any current or recent research, or any planned research, about noise pollution that your world-renowned research institution, the University of Southern California, has pursued or plans to possibly pursue?

Thank you in advance for your very helpful response to this letter of inquiry from myself.

Sincerely and Best Wishes from a former resident of California,

John Kevin McMillan,

cc: Texas Tech University Chancellor Hance in Lubbock, it being my hope as a former west Texan newspaper reporter that the Texas Tech University System might also be interested in studying noise pollution, including noise pollution occurring in Austin, Texas.

Texas A&M Chancellor Bob McTeer, College Station, it being my hope that the Texas A&M University System might also be interested in studying what might be the possible source or sources of medically-injurious noise pollution occurring in Austin, Texas, particularly since the Texas A&M University System will soon be adding a new A&M-affiliated medical school relatively close to Austin, and since Austin is the capital city of Texas.

Nebraska Governor's Office, I myself being a native of Lincoln, Nebraska, and son of a former University of Nebraska professor, who is myself very hopeful that researchers in Nebraska, including at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, are also studying what might be the source of medically injurious noise pollution currently occurring in such American cities as Austin, Texas.
