SENIOR POLICE OFFICER LAURA CORREA ON JUNE 7, 2016, STATES IN WRITING IN AN OFFICIAL AUSTIN POLICE DEPARTMENT REPORT THAT IT IS 'COMMON' FOR JOHN KEVIN McMILLAN OF AUSTIN TO COMPLAIN TO AUSTIN POLICE DEPARTMENT IN AUSTIN, TEXAS, THAT HE HAS BEEN SEXUALLY ASSAULTED


(The following Austin Police Department official report from an APD Senior Police Officer Laura Correa was publicly released by APD on September 20, 2016, among 136 total pages of legal documents that APD mailed that day to public information requestor and private citizen John Kevin McMillan of Austin, Texas. That public release of documents by APD was in response to public-information request 9-17932. In that request, Mr. McMillan had specified in writing in a September 15, 2016, e-mail letter to APD that he exclusively sought documents from APD in the period ever since 12:01 a.m. April 17, 2011, that referred to Mr. McMillan being a victim of either a possible or actual continuous crime or an alleged possible or actual federal crime. The abbreviation cited below, EDP, is an APD abbreviation for "Emotionally Disturbed Person". The abbreviation "APD", below, stands for "Austin Police Department". -- jkm)

"The subject involved in this incident has prior EDP and APD involvement. At this time the subject had a check welfare call placed on him. When seen the subject wished to report a possible sexual assault which is common for this subject. At this time the criteria for an emergency detention was not met and the subject was left at the scene. EDP report completed for information purposes.
