Subject: urgent qustion for Rep. Gina Hinojosa Fw: 11-30-16 question for CACOG Homeland Security Director

March 20, 2017

Dear State Representative Gina Hinojosa in Austin, Texas,

Best Wishes to you in your first year as a distinguished and very honorable member of the Texas House of Representatives of the Texas Legislature.

I am a dependably civil and law-abiding and honest, gainfully employed, permanently alcohol-free, lifelong-tobacco-free, lifelong-tattoo-less, facially-cleanshaven (no beard, no mustache, no goatee, etc.), consistently clean-talking (no profanity by me in my everyday conversations with others), lifelong-non-Christian-by-choice, implicitly-deistic and non-atheistic and religiously independent (Progressive Prohibitionist Religion), longtime-celibate-by-choice, single-by-choice, Scottish-English-and-German-ancestry Anglo male constituent of yours in Texas House District 49, the district you directly represent in the Texas House of Representatives currently in session here in Austin.

Rep. Hinojosa, are you willing to help me persuade the "Capital Area Council of Governments" Homeland Security Director, Mr. Eric Carter, to send me a reply letter to the following public-policy question (below) that I had posed to him nearly four months ago?

I am making this hopefully-polite request of you because I still have not heard back from Mr. Carter about this very important public-policy issue that has a huge bearing on my own personal safety at nighttime inside my locked private bedroom of my bolt-locked rental apartment in Austin.

Thank you in advance, Rep. Hinojosa, for your prompt reply note to me on this.

Sincerely and Best Wishes,

John Kevin McMillan.

Dear Homeland Security Director Carter,

Would you please tell me which actions your Austin-based regional council of governments pursues to help prevent and deter any and all home-invasion crimes that would victimize rent-paying occupants and rent-paying tenants inside their rental apartment unit in Austin?

Sincerely and Best Wishes,

from a longtime rent-paying official apartment tenant or rent-paying approved apartment occupant in Austin, Texas, who has resided in Austin on a continuous and uninterrupted basis ever since mid-March 1997.

with a courtesy carbon copy to the Very Honorable State Rep. Dustin Burrows of the Texas Legislature House Committee on County Affairs, and Rep. Burrows's high-ranking staff member Mr. Jeramy Kitchen. This courtesy carbon-copy is being shared with Rep. Burrows and Jeramy Kitchen based on the information I read online tonight that the Texas House Committee on County Affairs has jurisdiction and legal authority over any and all of the Regional Councils of Government in Texas.

another courtesy carbon-copy to Brian Thornton, the very polite and helpful Policy Director for Austin City Council Member Ellen Troxclair, and who is himself a very distinguished former Legislative Director for the Texas House Committee on County Affairs of the Texas Legislature.
