On behalf of my one-member (myself, only) and non-Christian Progressive Prohibitionist Religion, I feel that individuals who are well-to-do financially could in their last will and testament, or through a special savings account in a bank they might have established during their lifetime, choose to provide for immediate release of funds upon their own death to those persons very recently admired or liked or loved by the deceased whom the deceased would like very much to attend his or her own memorial service or funeral.
Funds could be earmarked for specified individuals not residing in the same city or town as the deceased, and who would each be expected to incur major financial expense or significant loss of income from attending either the memorial service or funeral, or some other honorable event relating to that memorial service or funeral.
Funds could be provided immediately to each of the specifically cited invited guests in order to help compensate them for their transportation expenses, their lodging expenses, their dining expenses, and for any loss of income they incurred from attending events in honor of the deceased and also honoring currently applicable strictly-mutual-consent friends of the deceased.
