Thank you for your very prompt October 20 reply letter (below) in direct response to my October 19, 2023, e-mail Texas Open Records Request (farther below).
I was very surprised by your statement to me that your very influential and pro-law-enforcement state agency in Austin, Texas, does not have any responsive documents.
My request had sought documents "received, sent, or forwarded by the Office of General Counsel for the Attorney General of Texas state agency at any time from 8 a.m. January 5, 2015, until 8 a.m. October 19, 2023, that each directly referred to a long-term expectation or long-term risk that I myself, John Kevin McMillan---my date of birth 4-27-1957 and my place of birth Lincoln, Nebraska---might or would definitely 'go deaf' from my being subjected against my own wishes to continuous and unwanted 24-hours-per-day or approximately 20-hours-per-day year-round and multi-decade and continuing ambient or environmental or background or human-generated noise pollution I myself did not produce, and in regard to which an official or staff member of the Attorney General of Texas state agency had identified the source, perpetrator, financier, or sponsor of that continuous noise pollution either occurring in Austin, Texas, elsewhere in Travis County, Texas, and in Williamson County, Texas;
or, alternatively, originating elsewhere in Texas."
Ms. Harden, is there any other division, office, or unit of the Texas Attorney General's Office----- such as your Constituent Affairs Division, Law Enforcement Division, Crime Victim Services Division, Environmental Protection Division, Civil Litigation Divisions, or Office of Special Litigation ---- that might have compiled legal records of that type which referred to the concern by a state or local or federal government official or private citizen in Texas, or elsewhere, that I myself was at risk of "going deaf" from my being involuntarily exposed to continuous noise pollution in Austin, Texas, and elsewhere that I myself did not authorize and did not generate?
