Thank you again for your prompt and helpful reply letters to me in regard to public-safety issues here in the "Beehive State".

Sgt. Roden, has your Utah DPS obtained any estimate for calendar year 2022 on the percentage of all the current households here in Utah in which the front door is kept unlocked:

---at all times; 

---the majority of the time; 

---84 or fewer total hours per week and more than 50 hours per week; 

---30 to 50 hours per week; 

---fewer than 30 but more than 20 total hours per week; 

---10 to 20 hours per week; 

---fewer than 10 but more than five hours per week; 

----three to five total hours per week; 

---fewer than 3 hours per week but more than 1 hour per week; 

---30 to 60 minutes per week; 

----fewer than 30 minutes but more than 15 minutes per week; 

---five to 15 total minutes per week; 

----fewer than five but more than one minute per week;  

----virtually never; 

or never?

Also, does the Utah DPS compile statistics on the percentage of home burglaries per year in Utah in which the front door of the victim's home or victim household's  home had been left unlocked or wide open by the victim or a member of the victimized household and the law-breaking burglar entered that home and trespassed illegally  through the already-unlocked front door before committing a home-invasion-related crime?

Finally, Sgt. Roden, I would like to respectfully ask you whether your noble statewide law-enforcement agency is willing to prepare an easy-to-read and concise factsheet that can help to persuade the hundreds or thousands of Utahns who habitually and on a year-round basis keep their front door unlocked, 

to PLEASE establish a permanent tradition of always fully locking their front door and always fully locking any and all possible points of entry into their own home or rental-apartment unit and each of their own motor vehicles.
