Upon advice from my primary care physician, internal medicine specialist Dr. Nathan Ragle of the University of Utah Health Madsen Clinic on the U of U campus in Salt Lake City, I this afternoon purchased a small box of "Sudafeds" from Summer, an alert and polite female Anglo staff member at the Walgreen's pharmacy along 400 South here in downtown Salt Lake City.
Summer stated to me that they keep their "Sudafeds" decongestant products behind the counter in that location and require an ID from the purchaser because some customers there who are drug addicts in Salt Lake City might attempt to purchase "Sudafeds" from her store and then "make a (new) drug out of it," she stated.
"Sudafeds" nasal decongestants are a registered trademark brand name. The active ingredient for "Sudafeds" is made in Germany, according to factual information printed on the side of the box. This product is distributed by Johnson & Johnson Consumer Inc., McNeil Consumer Healthcare Division, in Fort Washington, Pennsylvania.
