Governor Cox, I do not recall having ever received a reply letter from your very distinguished immediate predessor, Governor Gary Herbert, on a very important question I had posed to Mr. Herbert online in 2020 at his official Governor's Office website.
I had asked Governor Herbert in writing ( see text of my related 2020 blog below) if he felt sure that I would enjoy safe housing conditions in Salt Lake City, Utah, if I were to move from Austin, Texas, to Salt Lake City and then rent a locked solo-occupancy apartment for myself in this state capital city for Utah.
Governor Cox, do you yourself support safe-housing conditions for me here in Salt Lake City, including during my sleeping hours as I lie alone on my own bed inside my current always-fully-locked efficiency apartment unit here in Utah?

The following is the public-policy-minded question I posed to Utah Governor Gary Herbert at about 2:15 p.m. today at his official Office of the Governor of Utah website. Below my online message to Governor Herbert are his initial e-mail reply letter to me (farther below) and his computer-generated automatic online acknowledgement (final item, below) of my online communication to Governor Herbert:
"Governor Herbert, I am the youngest son of Murray, Utah, native and University of Utah alumnus Dr. Calvin McMillan. He was raised as a Mormon during his childhood and later left the Church of Latter-Day Saints on his own initiative.
"Governor Herbert, do you believe that if I were to myself move to Salt Lake City, Utah, I could sleep alone on my own bed inside my bolt-locked and fully-locked solo-occupancy apartment there without any person other than myself ever being physically present anywhere inside my locked apartment unit, or ever having any physical contact with me or any sexual contact with me of any type, at any time during my sleeping hours?
