State Rep. Briscoe, I am re-sending this letter to yourself and the other recipients because of typographical errors of mine last night in which I had incorrectly stated your and State Rep. Dan Johnson's respective official e-mail addresses. I want to thank each of you very honorable Utah state legislators for your patience and understanding on this.

Rep. Briscoe, I will look forward to receiving from you in the near future what will be the very first reply letter that you have sent me in your capacity as my primary state legislator representing me in the Utah Legislature. I reside in your district, as I'm sure you are very aware by now.

Incidentally, Rep. Briscoe, I appreciate your extensive ties to educators and educational service providers here in the Salt Lake City area.
I read online today that you previously served for 21 years as a high school teacher at Bountiful High School in Bountiful, Utah. You have also served as a distinguished member and President of the Salt Lake City School District Board of Education, a trustee of the Utah High School Activities Association, and an executive committee member of the National Council of Great City Schools.

As you may be aware, the owner of Wasatch Manor, the federally-subsidized 11-story senior-citizen apartment building where I myself reside alone as a rent-paying tenant (inside a fully-locked solo-occupancy ninth-floor studio rental apartment here in downtown Salt Lake City), is cited online at the official website for this Danville Development-managed property as: "Salt Lake Teachers, Granite Education, Davis Education and Salt Lake Administrators Association". Danville Development maintains its headquarters offices in the city of Midvale, right here in South Lake County.

Incidentally, Rep. Briscoe, I would like to take this opportunity to politely mention that I myself have not authorized any educational services for me anywhere in Salt Lake City or Salt Lake County that involve any anonymous communications of any type to myself. I value continuing my own lifelong education during my leisuretime through educational service providers for which the source of the factual information and opinions they offer, and the reliability of the information, is clearly verified at all times.

Best Wishes for a joyous and healthful and prosperous New Year for yourself and all of your other honorable colleagues in the State Government of Utah.

Sincerely Yours from a registered voter and gainfully employed, permanently-alcohol-free, lifelong-tobacco-free, dependably civil and law-abiding, single adult Anglo-Saxon non-Hispanic male adult constituent of yours who has strong LDS ancestry,
John Kevin McMillan.
My home address: 535 South 200 East, Apt. 912, Ninth Floor, Salt Lake City, UT 84111.
My cell phone: (512) 993-7305.
My home phone: (801) 355-0850.
My date of birth: 4-27-1957. My place of birth: Lincoln, Nebraska. I take great pride in the fact that I myself do not have any criminal-conviction record, as the FBI has verified for me.

Dear Utah State Representative Joel Briscoe, outgoing Utah State Senator Derek Kitchen, and Utah State Senator-Elect Jenn Plumb,

This is a friendly Christmas Day follow-up note relating to my request yesterday that you please sponsor proposed new state laws, such as laws authorizing increased funding by the Utah Legislature, to help achieve life-saving and urgently needed improvements to currently dangerous driving conditions on highways and roadways here in Utah.

Above are several online links to recent factually informative copyrighted online statements by a variety of sources about dangerous driving conditions here in the "Beehive State".

Benefits to our state from safer roadways are numerous and varied, including:

---Reduced burden on ambulance drivers and the EMS staff members who accompany them in responding to medical emergencies in Utah.
----Reduced burden on already-overworked emergency-room medical physicians, nurses, and other medical staff members in hospitals throughout Utah.
----Reduced overtime pay to EMS staff members and hospital emergency-room staff members in Utah.
----Reduced total fuel costs incurred by EMS ambulances and firetrucks, and by police vehicles or DPS vehicles responding to motor-vehicle accidents in Utah.
---Reduced air pollution that specifically results from
carbon dioxide produced by motor vehicles that are being driven to or from the scene of motor-vehicle accidents.
----Reduced congestion on roadways of Utah that can
result from motor-vehicle crashes involving one or more vehicles.
----Reduced diversion from the normal pursuit of crime-prevention projects and crime investigations by municipal police officers.
----Increased revenues garnered by Utah's tourism industry. This can be sparked by favorable media publicity about driving conditions on our state's roadways being safe for all tourists and other temporary residents.

State Rep. Briscoe, Senator Kitchen, and Senator-Elect Dr. Plumb, I hope this follow-up letter is helpful to each of you current or future State Government of Utah legislators as each of you strives to help strengthen public safety for everyone traveling on or near the roadways of Utah.

Sincerely and Best Wishes,
New resident of Utah and former Texas Department of Public Safety full-time employee John Kevin McMillan.
