TRAVIS COUNTY DISTRICT ATTORNEY'S OFFICE PUBLIC INTEGRITY UNIT SERGEANT INVESTIGATOR LORI CARTER ON DECEMBER 18, 2013, AT 2:30 P.M. LEAVES A RECORDED VOICE-MAIL MESSAGE FOR COMPLAINANT JOHN KEVIN McMILLAN AT HIS PRIVATE LANDLINE PHONE LINE IN AUSTIN, IN REGARD TO POSSIBLE FACTUAL EVIDENCE OF ALLEGED VIOLATION OF THE LAW IN CONDUCT TOWARD THE COMPLAINANT BY A CITY OF AUSTIN EMPLOYEE

“Mr. McMillan, this is Lori Carter with the Travis County District Attorney's Office.

"I received your two voice mails. We still have not yet received the packet that you sent us with the request to investigate.

"I did, however, receive the two e-mails that you sent me, which I responded back to.

"As far as your first voice mail that you left this morning, if someone has provided you a name of someone that can produce those records that you're claiming they've never produced, of course we would suggest that you contact that person so that you could---if part of your complaint is that they're not giving you those records, then of course contact that person to try to resolve that matter.

"So, I didn't really understand what your question was about that. But certainly if you think that that would resolve the matter, that's, that's the best course of action.

"I hope that answered your questions.

"And if I don't talk to you before the Holiday, have a Merry Christmas. Thanks.”
