Thank you for your February 20, 2024, reply letter (below) to me in response to my public information request that you officially received on February 12, 2024.

My February 12, 2024, public information request to your state agency  had sought:

"a copy of any and all e-mails, letters, reports, or other records or documents NOT written  by me  that were each generated by or received at any time since January 5, 2015, by any of the following Divisions of your state government  agency, and that in each such case directly   referred to myself as  being a current or former victim of a felony sex crime or a current or former victim of a felony 'Child Abuse'  crime or a victim in a felony 'Cold Cases' crime:

Ms. Aleman, please provide me with a clarification in regard to whether your reply letter to me comprises  a full and complete and final response to my February 12, 2024, Open Records request to your state agency in Austin.

Also, please inform me in writing in regard to which of the above-cited specific  Divisions of your state agency have or had documents responsive to the above-cited February 12, 2024, public information request from myself.

This e-mail is in response to your public information request to the Office of the Attorney General (“OAG”), received by the OAG on February 12, 2024.  

The OAG has reviewed its files and has located the attached documents that are responsive to your request.  Although the Public Information Act allows a governmental body to charge for providing documents under certain circumstances, the attached documents are being provided to you at no charge. 

Please note, however, that the OAG has redacted a personal e-mail address from the attached documents pursuant to section 552.137 of the Government Code and the previous determination issued by the Open Records Division.  See Open Records Decision No. 684 (2009) (governmental bodies may withhold certain information without necessity of requesting decision from Open Records Division).  

The OAG has also redacted employee user IDs from the attached documents pursuant to section 552.139 of the Government Code and the previous determination issued to the OAG.  See Open Records Letter No. 2011-18124 (2011) (OAG may redact employees’ user IDs without requesting ruling from Open Records Division).  Finally, the OAG has redacted information that is not responsive to the request.
