Dear U.S. Department of Commerce Freedom of Information Officials in Washington , D.C. ,

I would appreciate a reply E-mail letter from your federal agency, simply confirming for me that you have received the attached September 28, 2008-dated Freedom of Information request from myself, and that you will be mailing me an official response to that public-information request in the very near future.

Among the additional insights I hope to glean through this public-information request to your federal agency are:

----Does your federal agency know of any for-profit corporation or business entity or non-profit corporation or organization that has knowingly subjected me to repeated or incessant noise pollution harmful to my own auditory medical health and medical health over a multi-year period  in Austin , Texas .

---Is your federal agency aware that an ear, nose, and throat specialist whom I have consulted over a multi-year period in northwest Austin, Dr. David Tobey, in early 2008 stated to me in person based on repeated examinations of my auditory health inside his medical clinic, that noise pollution at some or several of my respective workplaces in the Austin area over a multi-year period allegedly contributed to permanent damage to my own auditory medical heatlh.

-----Is your federal agency aware that my biological sister, Ms. Julie McMillan Lechtenberger of the Houston area, stated to me over the telephone in 1999, during a long-distance phone call I made to herself at her and her attorney husband Dean Lechtenberger's private residence from my UT-Austin-area rental apartment unit: "I (Julie McMillan Lechtenberger) have never denied that you (John K. McMillan of Austin) are hearing actual, verifiable voices. But that should not affect your (financial) earnings capacity. If you lose a job, you can find another job."

---What prompted nationally syndicated columnist Ellen Goodman of "The Boston Globe" daily newspaper to write and mail to me a surprisingly worded reply letter on official "Boston Globe" stationery in late 1988 or early 1989 (a letter I received in my U.S. Postal Service mail during a period in which I resided in, and reported for a newspaper in, El Campo, Texas), which concluded by Ms. Goodman stating to me, "All brainwaves (sic) (from yourself, John K. McMillan, are) eagerly accepted."

----What prompted an attorney based in Minneapolis, Minnesota, Mark Williamson, to state to me over the telephone in late 1988 or in 1989, during a long-distance personal phone call I made to his and his attorney wife Peggy Williamson's private residence from my rental apartment in El Campo, Texas: "This thing's going to court!" and adding emphatically that "privacy rights!" in regard to my own life circumstances and conduct in Texas would be the legal issue being pursued in a court of law in the forseeable future, Mr. Williamson stated to me in an angry-sounding and indignant-sounding tone of voice. During the period in which Mark Williamson made that emphatic comment to me, I was employed by only one total media company, a family-owned, locally-owned, general-circulation, semi-weekly newspaper based in El Campo, Texas, and exclusively owned by then-publisher Fred Barbee of El Campo, Texas.

---Does your federal agency have any legal evidence indicating that any corporation operating in Texas has ever at any time attempted to subject me to extortionism; bribery; slavery; compelled speech in any context; hostage-taking; kidnapping; brainwashing; illegal communications of any type; stalking; theft of my own property; slander; libel; plagiarism violative of my own legal rights; or any other possible violation of my own legal rights.

---Is your federal agency aware that I myself am a current dues-paying member of some very influential labor unions (the National Writers Union, affiliated with the AFL-CIO; and the Texas Faculty Association and affiliated Texas State Teachers Association, professional organizations affiliated with the National Education Association), and that I plan to renew my membership in the Public Justice non-profit organization in the next few weeks.

Sincerely,

John Kevin McMillan,

11411 Research Boulevard, Apt. 325 , Austin , Texas , 78759 .
