SOME POSSIBLE NEW YEAR'S RESOLUTION PROJECTS OR GOALS THAT I HOPE THE U.S. PRESIDENT WILL BE WILLING TO PROMOTE FOR AMERICAN SOCIETY:

---Development of a new academic course or mini-course for primary and secondary public schools on "how to learn and develop expertise with the metric system".

---Sponsorship of a Metric System Conversions Contest, with the top 10 male contestants and the top 10 female contestants earning a college scholarship.

----The proposed issuance of corporate income tax credits to employers in the United States that make a full conversion to the metric system.

---Each U.S. state could require that some or many of the posted signs along highways which cite the driving distance to cited cities or other destinations be provided in both miles and kilometers.

---President Trump could sponsor a White House Conference on Conversion to Organic Farming. This would promulgate his strong support for a nationwide transition away from conventional farming and toward organic farming.

---The U.S. President could publicly honor the American cities in each population category that have made it as easy as possible for each resident in that city and each visitor to that city to participate in recycling of items such as paper products, plastic products, aluminum products, etc.
