AN ANTIDOTE TO CLAUSTROPHOBIA AND ANXIETY DURING THE CORONAVIRUS CRISIS: LISTEN TO AND CONTACT A FRIENDLY RADIO TALK SHOW

(The following item I wrote was previously posted by me on the San Francisco-based "Nextdoor.com":)

I read online this morning about some award-winning  talk shows offered each day by National Public Radio participating station KUT-FM here in Austin. My hope is that if some of us north Austin residents try listening to the educational-radio station KUT-FM 90.5, during this period, we might manage to hone our thinking skills and enhance our ability to respond calmly and intelligently to the current citywide and statewide as well as nationwide medical crisis.

Among the KUT-FM talk shows or news-feature interview shows that are rated very highly are "Think", a talk show from Dallas, Texas, and "All Things Considered," a commendably thought-provoking and articulate radio-interviews program that offers feature stories with sociological insight to them.

If anyone else has any suggestions for favorite radio talk shows that invite listeners to make a phone call to the show and offer a comment, I welcome any recommendations from any of you people-friendly neighbors here in north Austin.
