IF SOMEONE GRABS YOUR HEART, KEEP IN MIND THIS VALENTINE'S DAY THAT THERE ARE DOZENS OF WAYS YOU CAN EXPRESS A MEANINGFUL PLATONIC-LOVE AFFINITY FOR THAT INDIVIDUAL

This Valentine's Day offers all Americans an opportunity to reflect on the simple fact that 99 percent of all human relationships in life are observably platonic or non-sexual (no sexual contact, no display of nudity of any type) in nature.

And 99 to 100 percent of all of the authentically intimate human love relationships in life are, of course, without physical intimacy per se (no sexual contact, no nudity of any type; instead, at most, a fully-clothed hug) in nature.

Throughout your life, your level of success at expressing a strictly-platonic affection or strictly-platonic love toward others will have a huge bearing on your own and others' level of happiness and fulfillment as human beings.

Consider, for instance, what your options are if you happen to feel an emotional affinity toward someone who owns and rides a motorcycle.

You feel very concerned about the safety of that individual, and you do NOT want to see him or her sustain a medical injury on the roadway.

If you yourself are financially able to befriend that individual, you have the option of offering to help him or her purchase a fuel-efficient motor vehicle that contains air bags and is much safer to drive.

If he or she agrees to your offer, you could truly be a life-saver for that individual.

Other ways in which you as a human being can strive to express a healthy sense of platonic affection or platonic appreciation or platonic love for another human being through your own life:

---you can inform an idealistic and public-safety-minded younger person about the "National Safety Council", a non-profit organization headquartered in Itasca, Illinois, that has the noble mission of helping to promote greater safety for everyone in all aspects of American life.

--you can share with someone you are fond of the information you recently read in "Nutrition Action" newsletter, a widely-respected and authoritative health-theme publication from the Washington, D.C.-based non-profit group Center for Science in the Public Interest, that Cara Cara oranges are rich in BOTH vitamin A and Vitamin C. All other oranges offered for sale in the supermarket contain only minimal (if any) Vitamin A.

---you can mention to someone you adore that many people are not aware that the Rochester, Minnesota-based and internationally renowned Mayo Clinic is a non-profit health-care provider that probably accepts financial donations and last-will-and-testament-bequeathings from admirers, and that the Mayo Clinic is now publishing an authoritative newsletter that she or he might want to know about.

---you can contact the work supervisor of someone whom you believe is being subjected to unsafe or severe working conditions at her workplace. You can then ask that work supervisor if he plans to do anything to help improve that female employee's working conditions.
