Congratulations on the PhD in Political Economy and Government that you reportedly earned at Harvard University in Cambridge, Massachusetts.
The training you received from Harvard gives you considerable expertise, one would assume, on how to respond politely to direct public-policy questions that are posed to you in your current elective position of governmental leadership by gainfully employed and dependably civil and law-abiding and vigilant and honest and always-sober and never-high and very honorable constituents of yours such as myself.
This is a written reminder to you that 21 full days have passed since your polite assistant, Osiel Rivera, stated to me on the telephone on January 12, 2017, from your City Hall office in downtown Austin that he would attempt to get an answer from you to a public-policy question I politely posed to your office that day.
That question was essentially this: DO YOU, COUNCIL MEMBER ALTER, SUPPORT FULL FREEDOM FROM CRIME ON A DAILY AND YEAR-ROUND BASIS FOR THIS PARTICULAR SINGLE-BY-CHOICE, LONGTIME-CELIBATE-BY-CHOICE, LIFELONG-NON-CHRISTIAN-BY-CHOICE AND RELIGIOUSLY INDEPENDENT, ADULT MALE CONSTITUENT OF YOURS---MYSELF, JOHN KEVIN McMILLAN OF NORTHWEST AUSTIN---INSIDE MY LOCKED PRIVATE BEDROOM OF MY BOLT-LOCKED APARTMENT UNIT IN DISTRICT 10?
And today, my one additional public-policy question for you, a question prompted by what Osiel Rivera later stated to me on the telephone from your City Hall office on Monday, January 30, 2017, is this:
WHY DO YOU CLAIM TO BE A "PROGRESSIVE" AND "REFORM-MINDED" POLITICAL LEADER---SOMEONE COURAGEOUS ENOUGH TO FREQUENTLY CHALLENGE THE POLICIES OF REPUBLICAN U.S. PRESIDENT DONALD TRUMP, YOU HAVE EMPHASIZED---WHEN YOU HAVE ALLEGEDLY CHOSEN TO COMPLY WITH A JANUARY 30, 2017, WRITTEN REQUEST TO YOU FROM THE CITY MANAGER'S OFFICE HERE IN AUSTIN THAT YOU REFRAIN FROM SENDING ME ANY WRITTEN REPLY IN RESPONSE TO THE ABOVE-CITED ONE TOTAL PUBLIC-POLICY QUESTION FROM MYSELF?
