(Explanatory Note from John Kevin McMillan: I have added two total parenthetical clarifications --- (in 1997 inside this law office in downtown Austin) and (first) --- to the second paragraph of the following 2001 signed official legal reply letter to me on official law-firm stationery from my attorney at that time through the Texas Legal Protection plan, Mr. John F. Campbell of Austin, Texas. 
In the concluding portion of that legal letter, I have also added one clarifying statement --- (Handwritten postscript note to me on this same page:) --- that in the original letter was written by Mr. Campbell on the right-side margin directly across from his own signature.

RE: Recent Correspondence

Dear John:

Our office has received recent correspondence from you including your July 9 letter.

I have reviewed that letter carefully and find no reason to reply to it specifically other than to confirm previous conclusions that there is no basis for any legal action on your behalf at this time stemming from any facts or information that have come to me since the day (in 1997 inside this law office in downtown Austin that) you and I (first) met.

I am sure there is some explanation for the phenomenon that occurs in your life that causes you concern and consternation but until there is tangible evidence, you have no cause of action.

Furthermore, I believe that the environment in Austin is a good environment for you if you can find and maintain employment.

Sufficient income to maintain independence is an important issue for every adult and it is just about impossible to have a good life without it.
