P.O. Box 11517

Dear Mr. McMillan:

I am responding to your letter to the Attorney General.

We have reviewed the information you provided and it appears that this matter does not involve Federal law or what would appropriately involve the Department of Justice. Basically, the Department gives opinions or renders legal services only to Federal officials charged with public responsibilities. If you need to pursue the matter, you should consult a private attorney to determine what legal avenues are open to you.

We are returning your correspondence so that you may pursue the matter through the channels we suggest.

Sincerely,

Robert A. Strader
