MY ONLINE DISCOVERY LATE TONIGHT OF THE CURRENT OFFICIAL MOTTO FOR THE ENTIRE BERKELEY UNIFIED PUBLIC SCHOOL DISTRICT IN BERKELEY, CALIFORNIA, A SCHOOL DISTRICT VERY SPECIAL TO ME BECAUSE I ATTENDED SECOND-GRADE CLASSES AT HILLSIDE ELEMENTARY FOR THE 1964-1965 SCHOOL YEAR, WITH MY FRIENDLIEST AND MOST INSPIRATIONAL CLASSMATES AT HILLSIDE HAVING BEEN GRAHAM, CYNTHIA, MONICA THORSNESS, AND HARRIET WONG

I found it inspirational to learn late tonight for the first time in my life that the public school district in Berkeley, California, has adopted that official districtwide "motto". 

I myself don't recall having learned about any such district-wide official motto that has been adopted by any public school district in Texas. 

I would be very pleased, though, if many of the public school districts of Texas were to each create and approve a district-wide official "motto" of their very own.

This could help to motivate students while promoting a sense of a shared mission, shared values, and shared community for all students, teachers, administrators, staff members, parents, and families in each of those public districts in Texas.
