 I particularly appreciated then-Austin-based FBI agent W. Rick Copeland's statement to me on the telephone in the late 1990s during a call I made to the FBI from Austin, Texas, that "even if there is a media company or entertainment company involvement in your living circumstances here in Austin, they still are required to comply with the law in their conduct" (approximate quote).
