THE GLOBALLY-RENOWNED CORNELL UNIVERSITY, A PRESTIOUS IVY LEAGUE SCHOOL IN ITHACA, NEW YORK, SENDS A REPLY NOTE TO ME IN RESPONSE TO MY QUESTION: WHICH GOVERMENT AGENCY HAS LEGAL AUTHORITY OVER WORKING CONDITIONS INSIDE ONE OR MORE OF MY CURRENT WORKPLACES IN AUSTIN, TEXAS?

I am very impressed that Cornell University, a globally prestigious Ivy League school in Ithaca, New York, has expressed a kind interest in the question I've posed to numerous government agencies:

"I would appreciate learning from any of you which State Government of Texas agency or State of Texas-owned institution or federal agency or federal institution or city government-owned institution or agency or Travis County Government-owned institution or agency or regional-government-affiliated agency, if applicable, has some or extensive or exclusive legal authority over my own working conditions inside one or more of my three total current workplaces in Austin?"

Dear Texas Speaker of the House Dade Phelan,

Congratulations on your very influential new role as Speaker of the Texas House of Representatives here in Austin. I learned this morning for the first time that you hold that legal authority for the Texas Legislature.

Below are the only four reply notes I have received so far in response to the question I posed last night in an e-mail letter I wrote and sent to numerous government officials, labor-union officials, and other civic leaders:

I would appreciate learning from any of you which State Government of Texas agency or State of Texas-owned institution or federal agency or federal institution or city government-owned institution or agency or Travis County Government-owned institution or agency or regional-government-affiliated agency, if applicable, has some or extensive or exclusive legal authority over my own working conditions inside one or more of my three total current workplaces in Austin?

Any written response from yourself or any of the other officials I am sending this to today will be greatly appreciated by me.

Sincerely and Best Wishes,
John Kevin McMillan.

Dear State Government of Texas officials, Travis County Government Officials, City Government of Austin officials, Capitol Area Council of Governments regional-government officials, U.S. Government officials and labor union officials,

My legal name is "John Kevin McMillan".. I was born on April 27, 1957, at Lincoln, Nebraska.

I am a permanently-drinking-alcohol-free, psychologically healthy, lifelong-tobacco-free, dependably civil and law-abiding and law-enforcement-minded, honest, facially-cleanshaven (no beard or mustache or goatee), lifelong-tattoo-less, permanently jewelry-less, dependably clean-talking (no profanity by me in my everyday conversations with others), lifelong-non-Christian white single adult Anglo-Saxon English-Scottish-German-American gentleman and lifelong-American citizen, age 63.

I myself do not have any criminal-conviction record, as I'm sure that each of you is already very aware.

I hope to hear from any of you in the very near future in response to my hopefully-polite question.

Sincerely and Best Wishes,
John Kevin McMillan.
