Subject: 8-3-20 PIR re: APD-cited 'new' APD Sex Crimes case relating to me

A respectful FYI to each of you pro-law-enforcement government officials and civic leaders on the following exactly-quoted public-information request (below) that I submitted online today to the City of Austin (TX) Police Department at their official online website address at 8:08 p.m. this Monday, August 3, 2020.
The APD-assigned identification number on my request that was immediately provided to me in APD's computer-generated confirmation note (final item, below) is R042456-080320.
_____

"I am seeking a copy of any legal document written by any administrator, detective, officer, or staff member of the Austin Police Department Sex Crimes Unit that cites the APD-assigned identification number and current status of, and comprises any APD reports about, any alleged-sex-crimes case referring to me at least once in any manner that was opened or re-opened by APD on or after after July 3, 2019; and a copy of any and all e-mail letters or printed reports referring to me at least once in any manner that were written on or after July 3, 2019, by Sergeant Jason LaDuque of the APD Violent Crimes Area Command or by any APD officer or APD staff member supervised by Sgt. LaDuque.

"The six total APD officers or staff members supervised by Sgt. Jason LaDuque, according to helpful information provided to me on the telephone on August 3, 2020, at 7:25 p.m. by Austin 311 telephone reference and information staff member Lauren, are: APD Administrative Supervisor Iris Demers; APD Detective Issa Kafena; APD Detective Rafael Kianes; APD Detective James Turner; APD Officer Barry Knott; and APD Corporal Dennis Goddard.
"Austin 311 staff member Lauren also stated to me during my brief phone conversation with her on August 3 that Sgt. LaDuque and his staff are currently with the APD Sex Crimes Unit.

"My legal name is John Kevin McMillan. I was born on April 27, 1957, in Bryan Memorial Hospital at Lincoln, Nebraska.

"I have resided at the same apartment-unit address at a gated-community complex in northeast Austin throughout the one-year period applicable to this public-information request. My current home address is: Pebble Creek Apartments, 8805 North Plaza Drive, Apt. 2418, Bldg. 17, Austin, TX 78753. My primary e-mail address of "mcmillanj@att.net" and my primary home phone number of (512) 342-2295 have each remained the same throughout the one-year period of this request. In August 2019, I purchased and began using a cell phone of my own through the AT&T media services provider that has the phone number assigned to me by AT&T of (512) 993-7305.

"This public-information request was prompted by some of the legal documents (directly-quoted e-mails, below) that your municipal law-enforcement agency's Open Records Unit provided to me on June 25, 2020. One of those legal documents, below, is a January 9, 2020, e-mail by APD Sex Crimes Unit Sergeant Sandra Benningfield that cites a 'new' APD Sex Crimes Unit case which directly refers to me.
"The cited legal documents, below, were in direct response to a 2020 public-information request of mine officially received by APD on April 22, 2020, that sought a copy of any and all e-mail letters referring to me at least once in any manner that were written by any of 15 specifically-cited APD officers during the time period from April 1, 2011, until April 22, 2020 (the official date of receipt of my request by APD).
"APD Violent Crimes Area Command Sgt. Jason LaDuque was not among the 15 respective APD officers specifically named in that April 22-identified public-information request. The APD identification number on that public-information request was: R036772-042220.

"'Hello Mike,
"'Hope all is well. Can I request a follow up on a subject that seems to be possibly deteriorating? He regularly sends large group emails to every police, city and state official you can think of. I have been saving the email under the above case number, however he does have several more recent cit interactions. Our admin said he is now calling several times a day, and his large group emails seem to be increasing. He is always polite but it is too much.

"'The reason he contacts the sex crimes unit is because he says someone is coming through the walls and raping him multiple times on a nightly basis. He was instructed to set up deer cameras in his room, which he did and he thinks he has caught the suspect on the deer camera. Unfortunately it is just a lot of photos of him in his underwear in bed. There are some saved under the attachments in the above case number so you can get an idea of what I am talking about. He is a very educated man but has some issues that may be getting worse.

"'His name is John McMillan, w/m 4/27/1957

"Let me know if I need to generate a new report and I can do that.

"'Thanks,
"'Jason
