The intent behind this website would be to promote the wisdom of protecting the medical health and safety of as many Americans as possible during annual Independence Day celebrations on or about July 4.

There is every hope that studies will compare the July 4 injury-rate in cities and counties of any given state (or nationwide) that prohibit the igniting of fireworks on an individual basis by private citizens, and, on the other hand, those cities and counties of any given U.S. state (or nationwide) that permit that very dangerous activity.

Those comparisons should help to demonstrate the wisdom behind government imposing a permanent ban on private citizens setting off firecrackers anywhere in the United States.

This type of prohibition policy might still permit as legal public displays of fireworks at government-sanctioned events at which numerous persons attend as spectators.
