THE TYPE OF QUESTION THAT THE CITY GOVERNMENT OF AUSTIN SHOULD BE ASKING, BUT APPARENTLY ISN'T--INVITING SPECULATION THAT AUSTIN'S 'MARIJUANA MADNESS CAPITAL OF THE WORLD' REPUTATION MIGHT, IN FACT, BE JUSTIFIABLE

What percentage of all of the employers of Austin currently require random-drug-testing on any and all applicants for at least one cited position of employment with that business or non-profit entity or government-owned institution or agency?

What percentage of all of the employers of Austin currently require random-drug testing on any and all applicants for the majority, but not all, of the positions of employment with that business or other type of employer?

What percentage of all of the applicants for staff positions or faculty positions or administrative positions with The University of Texas at Austin, are currently required, by employment category, to undergo drug-testing as a pre-requisite for possible employment by or at UT-Austin?

What percentage of all of the applicants for staff positions or faculty positions or administrative positions of employment, by category, with Austin Community College, a publicly-owned college system in Austin, are currently required to undergo drug-testing as a pre-requisite for employment by ACC?

What percentage of all of the employers of Austin currently require random-drug testing on any and all applicants for ANY position of employment with that company or non-profit entity or government-owned institution or agency, including the top position of leadership and authority in that business or other type of employer?

What percentage of all of the employers of Austin currently require random-drug testing on some or several or many, but not all, of that company's or other entity's employees?

What percentage of all of the employers of Austin currently require random-drug testing on any and all employees or owners of that business or other type of employer?

The answers to these types of questions will tell anyone with a healthy anti-illicit-drug orientation what kind of city Austin is today---or, rather, what kind of city Austin has turned into.

"Welcome to the Marijuana Madness Capital of the World!", the City of Austin might as well declare in its posted signs greeting visitors to this state-capital city at several of Austin's boundaries.

"Welcome to the Pothead Capital of the World!" the City Government of Austin could also declare in other posted signs greeting visitors as they reach the city limits of this state capital of Texas.
