A respectful FYI to each of you on the following, and I would appreciate a reply note on this from any Austin Police Department or City of Austin representative in regard to whether APD and the City of Austin are now stating to me that APD is unwilling to accept any additional crime reports from me about my being a victim of alleged continuous-and-still-continuing-daily-and-year-round-anal-rape-crimes-and-personal-injury-crimes allegedly being inflicted on me during my sleep as I lie ALONE, unconscious and probably snoring, on a bed I myself own inside my locked private bedroom of my and my one total strictly-platonic-only official roommate Brett Andrew Meyer's bolt-locked two-bedroom, two-bathroom rental apartment unit at Village Oaks Apartments in northwest Austin.

with a courtesy-carbon-copy on all of this to Austin Police Department Interim Police Chief Brian Manley, who is apparently in the process of reviewing a written appeal I recently submitted to him by e-mail after I followed the proper chain of command of APD officials on that, this upon a very helpful recommendation to me from a first-rate female attorney for the Texas Advocacy Project anti-rape non-profit group in Austin.

Dear Brian,

Thank you again for taking the time to talk with me candidly on the telephone this Monday afternoon from your City Hall office about my civilly-worded legal complaint to you.

I am referring to my legal complaint that the Austin Police Department ever since early 2012, in particular, has allegedly failed to investigate, and has allegedly failed to arrest any actual crime suspect, in connection with the cited alleged continuous-and-still-continuing-daily-and-year-round personal-injury-crimes-and-anal-rape-crimes case in which I am the cited victim.

It is an alleged felony-crimes case in which I myself am a single-by-choice, longtime-celibate-by-choice, white male victim in a context in which I am always lying ALONE, unconscious and probably also snoring, on a bed I myself own inside my locked private bedroom of what is currently my and my one total official current roommate's bolt-locked rental apartment unit at Village Oaks Apartments in northwest Austin.

Brian, I would also like to thank you for kindly volunteering to me this Monday in our telephone conversation that if I believe that the Austin Police Department has allegedly or possibly been guilty of alleged "suppression of crime evidence" (an exact or near-exact quote from you) in connection with this case, I should myself ask a private attorney to represent me in all future communications of mine with APD, you helpfully advised.

You added that in the cited context in which a private attorney might represent me with APD, I myself should personally refrain from myself writing and e-mailing to APD any additional crime reports or myself directly filing any additional crime reports with APD during this time period, you kindly advised me on your own initiative in our phone conversation late this Monday afternoon.

That advice from you, incidentally, bore a striking similarity to written advice to me several weeks ago from a former APD officer, Mr. Jermaine A. Hopkins, who has sent me several e-mail letters this year relating to either this case or his written allegations to me that the City of Austin's public information office is allegedly not honest in its conduct, he stated. Mr. Hopkins, I might add, is an apparently courageous and apparently well-intended African-American gentleman whom I myself have never met before or ever spoken with on telephone at any time.

I am reminded as I note all of this that you did kindly volunteer to me in a recent prior week on the telephone that you yourself have a law degree.

Also in our phone conversation this Monday, you also stated to me, and I quote: "I (Brian Thornton) am disinclined (sic) to believe that the LGBT (lesbian-gay-bisexual-transsexual community) has been harassing (sic) you (John Kevin McMillan of northwest Austin)" (approximate quote).

You also stated to me in our most recent phone conversation that you now believe that the committee of the Texas House of Representatives that might have the most pertinent legal authority in regard to the cited alleged continuous-crimes case in which I am the cited victim is the "Public Safety Committee", you stated.

You also stated to me in our conversation this Monday that you had previously concluded on a tentative basis that the Texas House Committee on County Affairs might be the Texas House committee with legal authority on this case, since that committee could approve new legislation that provides more funding for the Texas Department of Public Safety's DNA lab, you said.

You had previously mentioned to me in a recent voice mail message to me from City Hall that it seems to you that the DNA lab to which the rape-evidence kit for APD Case 11-3550615 (with myself the cited sexual-assault victim in that case) was sent for testing, is probably a DNA lab at DPS headquarters in Austin, you stated at that time.

Shortly after our phone conversation this Monday, I did in fact chat online with the very prestigious and first-rate Carlson Law Firm, and I shared in writing with legal staff for that law firm in Austin your apparently-very-well-intended recommendation that I should myself find a private attorney to represent me with APD on the alleged continuous-crimes case in which I myself am the cited victim.

I would also like to thank you, Brian, for stating to me in our phone conversation this Monday that you yourself do not anticipate any charges being filed against me myself by APD or the City of Austin. Nor, I might add, have you yourself ever cited to me any conduct of my own that you regarded or regard as being possibly violative of the law in any way, I hope you don't mind my mentioning at this time.

Please let me know at your earliest convenience, Brian, if you feel that I failed in any way to accurately quote or paraphrase what you stated to me in our phone conversation this Monday.

Best Wishes to you and your other courageously honest and public-integrity-minded colleagues with the City Government of Austin.

Sincerely,

John Kevin McMillan.
