Dear Austin Mayor Pro Tem Dunkerley and Austin Mayor Wynn,

As founder of a local quality-of-life-minded and alcohol-free non-Christian religion with very stringent membership-eligiblity requirements, the Progressive (Prohibitionist) Religion, I would like to respectfully recommend that Austin City Council consider approving plans toward the design and construction by a private-sector firm of a proposed new mini-condominium units complex in central Austin.

The intent behind the proposed new commercial real estate for our capital city along the Colorado would be to help numerous individuals, including widows and widowers as well as single persons and small families or households with two or three total members, to enjoy condominium living in Austin at a much more affordable price than at present.

Because the proposed new mini-condo units would be significantly smaller than at present, it would of course be doubly imperative that sound-proofing of each unit be first-rate, and that, because of the "close-quarters" quality to this type of project, the proposed new condo units legal contract with the City of Austin prohibit those with a recent history of alcohol addiction or tobacco addiction or illicit-drug addiction from purchasing a unit or residing at that particular small-units condo complex. The proposed new mini-condo units contract could also prohibit anyone with a felony conviction record from purchasing or residing in any of those condo units.

As a consistently civil and law-abiding and non-drinking teetotaler and non-smoker myself, I am sure that many Central Texans, possibly including myself, would appreciate the opportunity to buy an affordable mini-condo home of their own at a complex of this type in central Austin that is truly accommodating toward honorably law-abiding and honorably civil citizens.

The proposed Austin mini-condo units complex would enable numerous persons in our city and nation to own their own home, while practicing land conservation and energy conservation that are very salutary for our global environment.

It is likely, incidentally, that the City of Austin could receive some helpful guidance in this proposed new project for our city from some Japanese consultant firm that has assisted with the design and construction of mini-condo units complexes in the land-conservation-minded and energy-efficiency-minded nation of Japan.
