Dear Utah State Legislature House Majority Leader Mike Schultz,
Among the additional questions for which a proposed new Utah Road Rage Incidents Database could provide invaluable answers in the form of statistics and factual information are:

----In what percentage of the Road Rage incidents in Utah did one motorist complain or state that the other motorist spoke a foreign language that he himself did not know?
---In what percentage of the incidents in Utah did one driver shout that the other driver was an "illegal immigrant"?
-----In what percentage of the Road Rage incidents in Utah were one or both of the motorists chain smokers?

-----In what percentage of the Road Rage incidents in Utah did one motorist state or complain that the other motorist was "driving too slowly"?
---In what percentage of the Road Rage incidents in Utah did one motorist complain that the motorist driving directly in front of his vehicle had made an obscene gesture toward the other driver, such as by pointing a finger upward (often referred to as "shooting the bird") toward himself?
--In what percentage of the cited incidents did one driver accuse the other of making an illegal U-turn or driving through a red light or otherwise violating the traffic laws of Utah?
----In what percentage of the Road Rage incidents in Utah were both of the motorists driving with a gun inside their own vehicle?
-----In what percentage of the Road Rage incidents in Utah was one motorist driving with a gun in his vehicle and the other motorist not driving with a gun in his vehicle?
----In what percentage of the Road Rage incidents in Utah did one driver shout that the other driver was "crazy" or "insane" or "stupid" or "a moron"?
-----In what percentage of the Road Rage incidents in Utah did one driver shout "you a--hole!" to the other driver, or words to that effect?
--In what percentage of the Road Rage incidents did one driver shout "F-cker!" (obscenity), "F-ck you!" (obscenity), the infamous "N" word, or "You Bitch!" Or "You Bastard!" at the other driver?
House Majority Leader Schultz, I hope very much that this two-part letter is helpful to you and your Utah Legislature colleagues.

Dear Utah Legislature House of Representatives Majority Leader Mike Schultz,
Thank you again for recently inviting me i writing to share with you concerns of mine relating to public-policy issues in Utah that the Utah Legislature might be able to address through approval of legislation.
I personally believe that the very alarming and very tragic Road Rage Crisis here in Utah demands additional factual information about the underlying causes of it.
Should the State of Utah establish and help finance a "Utah Road Rage Supercomputer Database" and "Utah Road Rage Prevention Research Institute" that stores or reviews and issues reports and recommendations drawing from a wide range of statistics about Road Rage-related traffic accidents and Road Rage-related physical assaults and shootings that occur in Utah?
