I will be very pleased if this follow-up letter I wrote and sent today to Utah House Majority Leader Mike Schultz helps to promote dialogue about these topics:

As you of course know, skiing is a major and frequent form of transportation here in Utah.
Do you believe that state law in Utah should impose tougher criminal-law penalties than at present on skiers under the influence of alcohol who crash into another skier or into a pedestrian? If so, do you support the establishment of a Utah DPS Ski Patrol or Utah DPS Snowmobile Patrol at ski resorts who are themselves authorized to promptly arrest "'Reckless Driving' Skiers" or injurious Skiers who are determined by the Utah DPS to have been at fault in a collision with another skier?Do you also support establishment of a small Utah DPS crime-evidence urine and blood testing laboratory near one or more of the Ski Resorts in our state?Utah House Majority Leader Schultz, I also need to ask you whether you support a revision of state law here in Utah that specifically invites and authorizes any city or town or village or county or multi-county region here in Utah to hold a local election in which voters there choose to classify or re-classify their city, town, village, county, or multi-county region as a municipality, village, county, or region of Utah in which no sale or production or possession or consumption of drinking alcohol is permitted anywhere in that municipality, village, county, or multi-county region of Utah.I would like to call your attention to the following online link to a November 5, 2017, copyrighted "Public Broadcasting Service" report focused on Utah. It is the type of report for which an update news story could be extremely helpful in January 2024 here in Utah.House Majority Leader Schultz, Best Wishes to you and your other conscientous and idealistic colleagues in the Utah House of Representatives in 2024.Sincerely,John Kevin McMillan, the single adult white teetotaling male founder of the permanently-alcohol-free and always-tobacco-free, non-proselytizing and strictly one-member (only me) politely non-Christian and public-safety-minded, factually focused "Progressive Prohibitionist Religion".My solo-occupancy rental-apartment unit home address ever since June 1, 2022:535 South 200 East, Apt. 912, Ninth Floor, Salt Lake City, UT 84111.My cell phone.
