I hope this e-mail (below) I wrote and sent out tonight will help persuade the Austin-based Cap Metro mass-transit bus service that it needs to develop a strategy for reducing the number of abandoned shopping carts at bus stops in north Austin.

More details re: bus stop 4754 along Burnet Road are provided farther below in this email note.
Below, top photo, is an additional photo I took this evening of another shopping cart posing a safety hazard for bus passengers and pedestrians in north Austin. This Cap Metro bus stop is a matter of feet north of and abutting a Sonic Drive-In chain-restaurant location.
The shopping cart, below, top photo, was at Cap Metro bus stop number 4539 along the southern side of West Rundberg Lane, a few blocks east of North Lamar Blvd. in north Austin.
Best Wishes,
Cap Metro passenger John Kevin McMillan of north Austin.
My home address: 8805 North Plaza Drive, Apt. 2418, Austin, TX 78753.
