Rep. Cole
To: City of Austin Mayor Pro Tem Sheryl Cole, City Hall, City of Austin, Austin, Texas. Dear Mayor Pro Tem Cole, I would like to thank your polite and articulate assistant, Phyllis, for authorizing me on the telephone today to send you a follow-up E-mail note explaining in further detail why I believe I have very fine credibiity as a criminal-law complainant and as a civil-law complainant here in Austin. I would like to again politely emphasize to you that I am a victim of alleged ongoing and daily and frequent and year-round felony crimes allegedly perpetrated on me during my sleep, regardless of the time of day when I sleep or nap on my orthopedic Swedish bed iniside my bolt-locked apartment, by one or more alleged illegal intruders inside my apartment unit at Wind River Crossing Apartments, including at present. Those alleged daily personal-injury crimes, I might add, have robbed me of hundreds of hours of sleep ever since mid-April of 2011, when the problem of my being awakened very abruptly in the middle of my sleep inside my bolt-locked apartment unit began for me, without my ever being able to identify who the alleged culprit might have been when I then search inside my apartment unit for an alleged illegal intruder. Mayor Pro Tem Cole, I would myself welcome ANY and all DNA medical swabs on numerous parts of my own body (my anus, my buttocks, my hips, my thighs, my legs, my mid-section, my mouth, my chest, etc.), along with follow-up lab tests on those DNA swabs, that the City of Austin or the Austin City Council on your own initiative are willing to authorize for me at any time. That DNA medical testing, from what I have been told by a law-enforcement agency, could identify any and all DNA left on any cited part of my own body by any illegal inturder inside my apartment unit at any time in the most recent 180-day period..... |
To: Austin Assistant Chief of Police Sean Mannix, Austin Police Department, Austin, Texas.Dear Assistant Chief Mannix,I was advised on the telephone today by Phyllis of the City Hall office of Mayor Pro Tem Sheryl Cole that I need to directly address my appeal to you through a letter of my own sent directly to yourself.Assistant Chief Mannix, I hereby appeal the "no further investigation" policy cited to me by Commander Julie O'Brien (see below) in her July 30, 2012, reply E-mail letter to me. Her reply letter was in response to my repeated civilly-worded criminal-law reports to APD ever since April 28, 2011, that one or more alleged illegal intruders inside my bolt-locked apartment unit allegedly have subjected me to daily and year-round physical abuse and personal injury during my sleep, while also waking me up repeatedly in the middle of my sleep without my having been able to directly and clearly identify the intruder on any occasion thus far.I maintain that Commander O'Brien's reply letter failed to acknowlege the following very salient factual information:...
Hi John,
Thank you for reaching out. Can you please provide your address? I'd like to refer you to the appropriate office.
Best,
Mallory Hart (she/her/hers)

Subject: Fw: W/ photo Fw: Graffiti on bin: ID 4691 Sbound Research Blvd
July 1, 2021
Dear Highly Esteemed Cap Metro Officials here in Austin, Texas,
I hope this photo that I took in north Austin late this Thursday afternoon (July 1) of a Cap Metro bus stop (ID Number 4691) along an eastbound lane of Research Boulevard, a block or two east of Burnet Road, will help to convince each of you Cap Metro officials to please insist on removing any and all graffiti as soon as possible at all Cap Metro bus stops in the Austin area.
The front side of this particular Cap Metro trash bin (see photo) features a very illicit anonymously-authored graffiti message--- sprawled directly above a Cap Metro-sponsored image of the State Capitol of Texas---that appears to have been written by a member of the so-called "marijuana community" here in Austin.
That shockingly illicit message: "HOW HI ARE YOU?"
Unfortunately, this handwritten message on a Cap Metro-sponsored trash bin could be misinterpreted by some Austin residents as somehow implying that the Cap Metro bus-transportation service here in this state-capital city for Texas is possibly "endorsing" or "supporting" consumption of illicit drugs such as marijuana.
I feel sure that many Cap Metro passengers, myself among those individuals, take pride in leading always-sober lives in which we each completely and permanently abstain from marijuana, so-called "medical" marijuana, any and all other illicit drugs, and alcoholic beverages. I am also sure that some Cap Metro passengers, myself among those individuals, strongly oppose legalization of marijuana, so-called "medical" marijuana, or any other illicit drug.
I hope to hear from you soon.
Sincerely and Best Wishes,
John Kevin McMillan, a year-round passenger on Cap Metro bus service here in Austin.
My home address ever since June 21, 2019: Pebble Creek Apartments, 8805 North Plaza Drive, Apt. 2418, Austin, TX 78753.
Home phone: (512) 342-2295.

It seems to me that the presence of lots of graffiti (see photo) on many of the Cap Metro trash bins here in Austin spawns other types of criminal mischief and vandalism at Cap Metro bus stops. It also undermines passengers' ability to look upon Cap Metro as a well-managed and safe and clean and tidy public transportation service.
Best Wishes,
John Kevin McMillan.
