Marijuana 'Purists' Indirectly Support Other Illicit-Drug Activities as Well

To the many "Marijuana Purists" of the United States who claim that they are themselves very decent and patriotic and honorable Americans because, they say, they limit their own
illicit-drug consumption to marijuana only, I offer this reply:

HAVE YOU EVER ASKED YOUR ILLICIT DRUG DEALER, OR ANY OF HIS OTHER CLIENTS YOU KNOW, WHETHER THAT DRUG DEALER EXCLUSIVELY SELLS MARIJUANA?

HAVE YOU SPECIFICALLY ASKED THAT DRUG DEALER, OR ANY OF HIS CLIENTS YOU KNOW, WHETHER THAT DRUG DEALER ADAMANTLY REFUSES TO SELL ANY ILLICIT DRUG EXCEPT MARIJUANA?

I would like to point out, first of all, that the chances are very high that that illicit drug dealer you are buying marijuana from also sells a wide array of illicit drugs other than marijuana.

Each and every time you buy an ounce of the illicit-drug marijuana from your drug dealer, he will use some of the money you gave him for purchasing cocaine and heroin and methamphetamine and other illicit drugs from his illicit-drug suppliers.

Your illicit-drug dealer will then be selling those OTHER illicit drugs to clients of his other than yourself.

This means, by definition, that your own professedly "Marijuana Purist" lifestyle is DEFINITELY NOT a lifestyle marked by the "moral purity" you claim to have! Through your purchases of marijuana, you are indirectly providing financial support for the production, distribution, and sale of many of the illicit drugs---heroin and cocaine among them---that you profess to personally despise!

Second, your illicit-drug dealer himself may sense that you are a self-described 'marijuana purist' and lie to you about which drugs he sells. He may falsely state to you that he does not sell any illicit drug other than marijuana. So don't assume that his reply to your question will be accurate.

Third, I would like to challenge each of you marijuana purists of the United States to please write and send an E-mail note to the Chicago-based "American Medical Association" or the "Community Anti-Drug Coalitions of America" non-profit organization that's based in Virginia.

In that E-mail note, you could ask each of those non-profit groups if they agree with your own claim that marijuana is "benign" or "morally superior" or "good" or "innocuous" or "not harmful" to you.

You will be very surprised by the anti-marijuana factual information you glean from that research. It will be information that may well shock you into seeking medical treatment for your current addiction to the very injurious illicit drug marijuana.

Fourth, your self-identified status as a "morally superior marijuana purist," as you call yourself, overlooks another crucial point.

Your illicit purchases of marijuana from an illicit drug dealer in your American city play a nefarious and injurious role, both directly and indirectly, in the unconscionable financing of terroristic violence in foreign nations as well as inside the United States.

Those foreign nations victimized by terroristic violence partly because of your own illicit purchases of marijuana in the USA, include Mexico, Colombia, Middle Eastern nations such as Afghanistan and Iraq, Turkey, and other foreign nations as well.

Fifth, your claim to being a "morally superior marijuana purist" overlooks yet another glaring point.

The money you spend on the illicit drug marijuana is money that you COULD have instead spent on wholesome and strictly-legal material goods --- food and clothing, for instance --- for yourself or your girlfriend, boyfriend, wife, husband, or child.

Your own quest for a "marijuana high" may have deprived your romantic partner or child of a coat that could keep that individual warm and healthy during freezing temperatures outdoors.

Sixth, your year-round purchases of marijuana undermine the vitality of wholesome, law-abiding agricultural and ranching enterprises in this and other nations. That occurs because of your immoral financial support for illicit marijuana-crop farming.

Because of your own and other Americans' illicit-drug addictions to marijuana, many thousands of acres of farmland, pastureland, and ranchland in the USA and elsewhere that could be used for raising wholesome, healthful fruits and vegetables and livestock, are instead being occupied with the illicit alternative purpose of growing and harvesting illicit marijuana plants!

That is a flagrant and truly hideous perversion of our global agricultural and ranching scene---including, I might add, our American agricultural and ranching scene.
