WHEN YOUR OWN POINTS OF AGREEMENT WITH ANOTHER HUMAN BEING YOU ENJOY BEING AROUND APPEAR TO BE FEW IN NUMBER, CONSIDER THESE:

--If you and the other person each support the legal and human right of anyone to get a full and revitalizing night's sleep on a daily and year-round basis during that individual's chosen bedtime hours, that is significant common ground.

--If you and the other person each support freedom from home-invasion crimes and personal-injury-crimes for anyone and everyone, that is significant common ground.

--If you and the other person each wish both of you to have a full and enjoyable and healthy life, that is significant common ground.

--If you and the other person each adore spicy-foods cuisines (with your own enjoyment of Cajun cuisine, for instance, admittedly not including Crawdads per se, which repulse you quite a bit, but your own pro-Cajun-cuisine outlook otherwise being extensive, with the clear understanding that for you, a lower-sodium version of Cajun cuisine is crucial to your own and others' long-term medical health and longevity), that is significant common ground.

--If you and the other person each verbalize words of praise or appreciation for each other on a frequent basis, that is significant common ground.

--If you and the other person each vividly remember what each of you stated to each other in the way of oral autobiographical statements, that is significant common ground.

--If you and the other person smile more frequently and without effort when in the presence of each other, that is significant common ground.

--If you and the other person each feel calmer and more composed and more dignified in each other's presence, that is significant common ground.

--If you and the other person each have more vivid friendly or enthusiastic facial expressions and are more intrigued than usual by the world around you when in each other's presence, that is significant common ground.

---If you and the other person are each less likely to ever feel bored when in the presence of each other, that is significant common ground.

--If you and the other person are each very aware of each other's facial expressions and body language when in each other's presence, that is significant common ground.

--If you and the other person each believe strongly in the importance of strictly-mutual-consent and lasting and mutually-appreciative personal platonic relationships in each and every human being's life, that is significant common ground.

--If you and the other person each support a full natural and creatively vital lifespan for anyone and everyone, that is significant common ground.

--If you and the other person each support the best possible medical health for anyone and everyone, that is significant common ground.

--If you and the other person both adore lifelong sports such as tennis, racquetball, roller skating, swimming, jogging, running and other track and field events, and hiking, that is significant common ground.

--If you and the other person each take pride in having German ancestry or English ancestry or Scottish ancestry, or, in your own case, all three of those ancestries, that is significant common ground.

--If you and the other person each support full Freedom of Religion and full Freedom of Speech legal rights for anyone, provided that his or her accompanying conduct is not violent and does not subject another person to anonymous communications they do not wish to receive, that is significant common ground.

--If you and the other person strongly oppose bullying of younger persons and inter-generational exploitation of younger persons by individuals at least 10 years older than themselves, that is significant common ground.

--If you and the other person each take pride in being very independent-minded, that is significant common ground.

--If you and the other person support the legal right of an adult person to become a kind and appreciative and generous and non-censorious strictly-mutual-consent personal friend with an adult person significantly younger in age than the former individual, that is significant common ground.

--If you and the other person support a hearty and robust and truly full sense of Freedom of Speech for everyone that welcomes and participates in verbalized and lawfully expressed criticism of any and all cities or states or nations or institutions or subcultures or communities or religious groups or atheist groups or political groups, etc., that is significant common ground.

to be continued.
