MY ADVICE TO YOU ON HOW TO BEFRIEND IRELAND AND THE IRISH PEOPLE ON ST. PATRICK'S DAY THIS YEAR

I was just reminded of another tangible factual reason why it might not make sense for me to ever reside in the foreign nation of Ireland. I was reminded of this after discovering tonight the following very alarming recent news-related account about alcohol consumption rates in Ireland.

One way to be helpful to Ireland, and to Irish-Americans, is to pursue a strictly drinking-alcohol-free celebration of St. Patrick's Day on Wednesday, March 17, of this year. Drinking hot tea that is brewed with "Irish Breakfast Tea" teabags from Ireland might be one way to politely befriend the Irish people and Irish-Americans on St. Patrick's Day. That "Irish Breakfast Tea" celebration on St. Patrick's Day can help promote non-alcoholic business ventures in Ireland.
Another way to help the Irish is to pursue online research that identifies a very honorable Irish non-profit group that seeks to reduce the alcohol-addiction rate throughout all of Ireland. A kind-hearted person could then make a financial donation, no matter how modest, to that noble non-profit group that helps alcohol-addicted Irish persons of any and all backgrounds.
There may also be a noble non-profit group in Ireland that specifically helps Irish citizens and visitors to Ireland who are victimized by criminal activities perpetrated by Irish persons under the influence of drinking alcohol. A financial donation to a non-profit group of that type in Ireland that strives to help any and all victims of alcohol-related crimes in that British Isles nation, could also be significantly and tangibly helpful to Ireland and the Irish people.
I also like the idea of befriending a very honorable non-profit group in Ireland that offers college scholarships to Irish young persons who very honestly and very accurately state on their application that they themselves have permanently abstained from drinking alcohol throughout the most recent entire two-year or three-year period, and that they plan to abstain from consumption of drinking alcohol, tobacco or vaping products, and from marijuana and any and all illicit drugs throughout their years in college.
