AUSTIN (TX) POLICE DEPARTMENT OFFICER VERONICA SALDATE ASSISTS WITH A CRIME PREVENTION PROGRAM FOR SENIOR CITIZENS IN AUSTIN, I LEARNED TONIGHT THROUGH INTERNET RESEARCH

When I did a Microsoft Bing (not a Google) online search tonight in my personal computer to confirm that I had the correct official e-mail address for Austin (TX) Police Department Officer Veronica Saldate, the following additional factual account about a program promoting crime-prevention for senior citizens in Austin appeared on my computer screen.

The first paragraph of that factual account stated:
"SENIORS AND LAW ENFORCEMENT TOGETHER (S.A.L.T) is designed to promote personal safety of seniors by organizing community meetings and health/safety fairs. The main purpose of S.A.L.T is to prevent seniors (in Austin, Texas) from losing their life savings through scams and frauds. S.A.L.T is comprised of (Austin) City Council members, (Austin) police officers, civilian employees from law enforcement agencies and seniors. About 200 seniors attend the safety fair each year...."
