Dear Middlesex County District Attorney Ryan,
Best wishes to you and your noble crime-deterrence-minded colleagues this Holiday Season.
As a courtesy to you and your first-rate staff, I am hererby sharing with you the December 4, 2017, e-mail letter (below) that I wrote and sent that same day to Newton Mayor Setti D. Warren and other City of Newton officials.
I have not received any reply note as yet from any of the cited City of Newton officials.
District Attorney Ryan, please let me know if you ever determine at any time that your Middlesex County prosecuting attorney's office in Massachusetts might have some or primary legal jurisdiction over "Northland Oaks Apartments LLC", a for-profit corporation in Newton, Mass., that reportedly owns the northwest Austin (TX) rental apartment complex where I myself am residing as a rent-paying current official tenant.
Thank you in advance for your helpful reply letter to me on this, and please note that I am also sharing a courtesy carbon-copy of this letter of mine with Travis County (TX) District Attorney Margaret Moore and several respected officers or officials of the Austin Police Department and the Travis County Sheriff's Office, respectively, in Austin, Texas.
Sincerely and Best Wishes,
from John Kevin McMillan, a former Massachusetts-based professional full-time newspaper reporter, magazine reporter, copy editor, and occasional oped columnist.

Dear Newton (Mass.) Mayor Setti D. Warren and other Distinguished and Highly Influential City Officials for the City Government of Newton in Newton, Massachusetts,
I am a law-abiding, gainfully-employed, certified direct descendant of the great Puritan religious leader Rev. William Brewster.
Rev. Brewster, as each of you is no doubt aware, served as head chaplain on the Mayflower and, later, as a leading adviser to British Plymouth Colony Governor William Bradford in territory that is currently situated in your U.S. state.
I am also a former full-time professional newspaper journalist in your metro area of Massachusetts.
I currently reside at a large apartment complex in Austin, Texas, "Village Oaks Apartments," where my current official apartment-management-team-approved 11-month apartment lease contract that I signed directly identifies the official owner of this commercial real estate property in northwest Austin as "Northland Oaks Apartments LLC".
I have resided as either a rent-paying official tenant or a rent-paying approved official occupant at Village Oaks Apartments, 10926 Jollyville Road, in northwest Austin ever since late September 2015. From late September 2015 through early September 2017, I resided in Apartment 902 at this same apartment complex.
An Austin-based State Bar of Texas member private attorney who represented me in that specific context, Mr. Dominic Audino, in August 2016 elicited an official signed one-page reply letter to Mr. Audino on official "Northland Investment Corporation" corporate headquarters stationery from Ms. Beth H. Kinsley, General Counsel for "Northland Investment Corporation" in Newton, Mass.
That certified-delivery reply letter specified that it was in direct response to a July 29, 2016-dated legal letter of inquiry that had been submitted by Mr. Audino on my behalf, with that August 8, 2016-dated reply letter specifically citing me by name in the subject heading for that letter: "Re: John McMillan; (a semi-colon, rather than a comma---correction on that made by me 12-8-17 in this online legal document---jkm) Village Oaks Apartments, Austin, Texas"
That August 8, 2016-dated reply letter to Mr. Audino, a copy of which I have kept on file inside my current Village Oaks apartment unit, stated:"The name and address of the holder of title to the Property (Village Oaks Apartments, 10926 Jollyville Road, Austin, Texas) is Northland Oaks Apartments LLC, 2150 Washington Street, Newton, MA 02462..."
That August 8, 2016-dated legal reply letter to Mr. Audino also stated: "The name and address of the manager of the Property is Northland Investment Corporation, 2150 Washington Street, Newton, MA 02462."
Would any of you City Government of Newton officials in the Bay State please verify for me in writing that your municipal government in Newton, Massachusetts, has some or primary or exclusive legal jurisdiction or governmental supervisory authority over both the for-profit corporation bearing the official name of "Northland Oaks Apartments LLC", and the for-profit corporation bearing the official name of "Northland Investment Corporation"?
Sincerely and Best Wishes,
John Kevin McMillan, a former full-time reporter or copy editor for two respective general-circulation news-media publications in your state: "Worcester Magazine" in Worcester, Mass., and "The Patriot Ledger" daily newspaper in Quincy, Mass.
