Dear Austin Tenants' Council Representatives in Austin, Texas,

A very helpful female telephone reference librarian for the Austin Public Library, Jennifer, has referred me this evening to your Austin Tenants' Council.

Jennifer stated to me that your non-profit group might be the best organization for me to contact in order to myself find out which government agency or agencies have regulatory authority or legal jurisdiction of some type over the commercial real estate property in northwest Austin where I am residing as one of the rent-paying official apartment-unit tenants.

I reside in Austin District 10. I am not currently able to contact my duly elected Austin City Council member (officially serving as the District 10 representative on the Council), Dr. Alison Alter, about this issue.

Council Member Alter in March 2017 reportedly prohibited me from ever again contacting her, according to another City of Austin official who made an on-duty official visit to my apartment unit at about 8:20 a.m. Thursday, March 9, 2017, in order to offer that verbal warning to me in person.

I will gladly provide your organization with the name of the City of Austin representative who offered me that verbal warning, should your group ever seek that information from me at any time.

Nor am I currently able to contact the Austin City Manager's Office for factual information about the above-cited jurisdictional or regulatory issue.

A City Government of Austin official (whose name I will gladly provide you upon request) stated to me in person during an official on-duty visit he made to my apartment unit at about 9:20 a.m. Thursday, November 30, 2017, that Austin Interim City Manager Elaine Hart and City Manager's Office staff member Amy Teel (and apparently also including each of Ms. Hart's current Assistant City Managers and all other City Manager's Office staff members) are now prohibiting me from ever again contacting any of them about any subject or in any context, according to that City Government of Austin official.

I am gainfully employed and dependably civil and honest and law-abiding, and I do not have any criminal-conviction record. I might add that I myself am not under custody of any type by any law-enforcement agency anywhere in the world. Nor are there any pending charges against me.

I hope to hear from you soon in response to this one total request for information about jurisdiction that I am making to your group in this follow-up letter from myself.

Sincerely and Best Wishes,

John Kevin McMillan.
