Please note that through this follow-up letter that I am also carbon-copying to the Attorney General of Texas, I am hereby making two factual corrections to the text of my online request for assistance from the Texas Attorney General's Office in Austin that I had submitted online to that State of Texas agency at their official state-agency website at 8:36 p.m. today, April 29, 2021.  Each of those corrections have been bold-faced (see quoted paragraph, directly below), with enlarged type size also provided by me to highlight them in the directly quoted text.

Those two corrections are: I am no longer age 63, since I turned 64 on April 27, 2021; and a close parenthesis has been added by me to one statement of mine below.

(I have also inserted these two above-cited corrections, farther below, in the online text of a Texas Attorney General's Office-provided verbatim summary of my own 8:36 p.m. online message today to Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton.)

The Austin Police Department Sex Crimes Unit on March 24, 2021, activated a new APD Sex Crimes Case, Case 21-0830533, in which I am the cited complainant and male adult victim.  However, the assigned APD Sex Crimes Unit detective, Detective William Costello (Badge Number 7057), stated to me on the phone at about 2:48 p.m. April 27, 2021, that he had decided to cancel a scheduled in-person 10 a.m. April 28, 2021, interview with me he himself had scheduled for me on the phone earlier that day  (at roughly 11 a.m. on April 27). The planned April 28 in-person interview of me had been scheduled by Detective Costello to take place inside the APD Sex Crimes Unit compound at 4201 Ed Bluestein Boulevard in Austin, he had stated to me on the phone at about 11 a.m. April 27. The same Detective Costello had also stated to me on the phone at about 11 a.m. April 27: "John, we will not authorize that (a rape-evidence forensic DNA-swabs medical exam on you) unless you come in for an interview (at the APD Sex Crimes Unit compound)." I have politely emphasized to Detective Costello that I will be very pleased to attend an in-person APD interview of me at the APD Sex Crimes Unit compound for APD Case 21-0830533."
