Thank you your August 23, 2018-dated e-mail written request (below) to me, in which you sought a clarification from me on my August 22, 2018-dated online public-information request (last item, below) to Dallas Police.

In response to your request to me, I would like to offer you the following (below) revised version of of that public-information request to your municipal law-enforcement agency.

Please note that the revised text is all contained in the bigger-type-size paragraph immediately below this, which also replaces the first paragraph of my August 22 online public-information request:

I am seeking a copy of any and all written communications, including e-mail communications, referring at least once in any manner or any context to myself, John Kevin McMillan of Austin, Texas, during the time period ever since April 17, 2011, that were each written or sent or e-mailed or mailed or FAXed or forwarded by Dallas Police Chief U. Renee Hall, Interim Dallas Police Chief David Pughes, or Dallas Police Chief David Brown, respectively, from or within the Office of the Chief of Police for the City of the Dallas.

EXCLUDED from the scope of this public-information request are any e-mail communications that I myself wrote.
My legal name is "John Kevin McMillan". My date of birth is April 27, 1957. I am a native of Lincoln, Nebraska. 


Throughout the entire cited time period applicable to this public-information request, my personal e-mail address has always been: mcmillanj@att.net. Also throughout the entire multi-year cited time period, I have always maintained the same personal phone number through AT&T of (512) 342-2295.

This letter is to clarify what information that you are seeking from the Dallas Police Department.

CLARIFICATIONS

This letter requesting clarification is being made pursuant to Texas Government Code § 552.222. Please be advised that if the Dallas Police Department does not receive a written response within sixty-one (61) days from the date of this letter, the underlying request for public information will be considered to have been withdrawn in accordance with § 552.222. Please respond in writing the following information: Provide DPD employee or Officer name for emails.

You may provide a response by any of the following methods:
1. by replying to this electronic mail
2. by replying via the Public Information Request System

Upon receipt of your clarification, the Dallas Police Department will further respond to your Public Information Act Request as required by law, including providing you with an estimate of costs associated with producing the requested records.
