A GOAL OF MY ONE-MEMBER (MYSELF, ONLY) AND PUBLIC-HEALTH-MINDED 'PROGRESSIVE PROHIBITIONIST RELIGION': HELP TO IDENTIFY CURRENT GAPS IN COVERAGE BY THE FREE-ENTERPRISE SYSTEM IN THE USA IN REGARD TO FOOTWEAR OPTIONS BEING OFFERED FOR SALE IN RETAIL STORES THAT ARE, IN FACT, SIGNIFICANTLY BENEFICIAL AND COMFORTABLE AND GOOD FOR THE HEALTH OF THE SHOE-WEARER OR BOOT-WEARER

I am particularly disappointed by the small number of either dress shoes or work shoes or athletic shoes in a variety of styles, that are each orthopedically designed to be very good for the shoe-wearer's health, and that also meet high standards for endurance, and have soles that meet high standards for slip-resistance and oil-resistance.

It seems to me that a non-profit foundation or religious entity such as my fully independent "Progressive Prohibitionist Religion" should strive to offer financial incentives and other incentives that help foster a significant increase in the number of for-profit corporations and non-profit groups, for that matter, that design and manufacture shoes which do meet the above-cited criteria.

My fully-independent and non-Christian religion maintains that footwear is very definitely a religious issue.

Anyone wearing shoes or boots that are unsafe or harmful to their feet, is at increased risk of slipping or falling and injuring themselves, or harming their own overall medical health from wearing footwear that is not orthopedic.

It also seems obvious that if someone feels pain from wearing shoes or boots that are uncomfortable to himself, he is more likely to feel irritable or annoyed and have inter-personal conflicts with other persons.

It seems very fair to conclude that offering consumers a wide variety of options for safe, comfortable, orthopedically-designed shoes and boots---options that are flagrantly under-represented these days in most retail stores in the U.S. --- will also help to promote greater harmony in American society.
