Dear State Rep. Hinojosa,

Thank you for your April 17 reply note (below) indicating that you might be willing to consider authoring or co-sponsoring a new bill during the next legislative session that increases the criminal-law penalties imposed on a person convicted in a court of law of having deliberately injured or deliberately harmed the medical health of a cited crime victim in Texas at a time when the latter individual was either asleep or unconscious.

I also appreciate your stated willingness to consider posing questions to me in regard to my own direct knowledge about this particular public-policy issue as you consider proposing a bill of this type before the Texas House in January 2019.

Sincerely and Best Wishes from John Kevin McMillan, a dependably civil and law-abiding, gainfully-employed, always-sober, longtime-celibate-by-choice, facially-cleanshaven, single adult male constituent of yours in District 49.

Subject: 4-16-18 crime-punishment question for Rep. Hinojosa

April 16, 2018

To: Texas House District 49 State Rep. Gina Hinojosa of the Texas Legislature in Austin, Texas.

Dear Rep. Hinojosa,

Do you support state-mandated increased criminal-law penalties to any and all individuals who are convicted in a court of law in our Lone Star State of having deliberately injured or deliberately harmed the medical health of someone (myself, for instance) in Texas in a context in which the cited victim was either asleep and unconscious or otherwise unconscious?

As a constituent of yours who is myself residing in Texas House District 49, I would appreciate a written reply note from you as soon as possible in response to this urgent and very crucial public-policy issue facing the Texas Legislature.

Thank you in advance, Rep. Hinojosa, for your prompt reply note to me in response to this very important issue that makes a statement to the entire world about whether the Texas Legislature is or is not willing to adequately protect an individual's (including my own) privacy rights and personal safety during periods when he is, in fact, asleep and unconscious and lying on his own designated bed inside his bolt-locked private residence.

Sincerely and Best Wishes,
John Kevin McMillan, a gainfully employed, dependably civil and law-abiding, permanently drinking-alcohol-free, single adult Anglo male constituent of yours who also myself resides in the Austin City Council District 10 section of this state-capital city for Texas.
