Dear Utah Attorney General Sean Reyes,
Best Wishes to you in your noble mission of promoting year-round freedom from crime for all residents of Utah, including myself.
I am proud to mention that I officially became a permanent resident of Utah on January 1, 2023.
Your official state agency website currently states, "The top priority of the Utah Attorney General’s Office is to keep citizens, especially children, safe from violent crimes, domestic abuse, and predatory crimes."
Mr. Reyes, I have not yet received a reply letter from you in response to the two public-safety-related questions I posed to you in a letter (farther below) that I wrote and sent to you on July 16, 2023.
Those two questions were:
"Attorney General Reyes, I would like to ask you if your State of Utah agency has any current communications with any Utah-based organization that specifically contains the term 'crime prevention' in its official name?
"Also, do you believe that the State Government of Utah should do a lot more than at present to help coordinate crime-prevention strategies on a statewide basis here in the 'Beehive State'?"
Attorney General Reyes, I would appreciate it if you would please provide me with a written reply letter that directly responds to those two questions from this particular single adult male constituent of yours.
(I am gainfully employed in Salt Lake County, platonicly polite, consistently clean-talking and non-profane, facially cleanshaven, permanently alcohol-free (ever since 1990) and never previously addicted, permanently marijuana-free (ever since 1984) and never previously addicted, lifelong tobacco-free and lifelong nonvaping, lifelong tattoo-less, dependably civil and law-abiding (I do not have any criminal conviction record) and honest, lifelong-single, and a white male non-Hispanic gentleman.)

Attorney General Reyes, I would like to ask you if your State of Utah agency has any current communications with any Utah-based organization that specifically contains the term "crime prevention" in its official name?
Also, do you believe that the State Government of Utah should do a lot more than at present to help coordinate crime-prevention strategies on a statewide basis here in the "Beehive State"?
Finally, do you believe that local and state law-enforcement agencies here in Utah should be more successful at inviting reports about suspicious incidents or possible crime evidence in Utah, along with "crime tips" from Utah residents and visitors to Utah about continuous crime cases and other crime cases that are currently occurring or currently being investigated in this state?
In view of the growing percentage of Utah residents who have moved here from another U.S. state or foreign nation---with many of those persons having felony criminal-conviction records or criminal-conviction records for misdemeanor crimes involving violence---Utah has an urgent need for an active and well-funded statewide Utah Crime Prevention strategy.
As you may be aware, Attorney General Reyes, the "California Crime Prevention Officers' Association" (CCPOA) highlights an admirable and life-saving statewide emphasis on crime prevention in that far western U.S. state. The online link that organization is:
