Dear Utah Department of Public Safety Public Information Officer Sgt. Cameron Roden,

Has your nobly vigilant Utah Department of Public Safety state law-enforcement agency obtained any estimate this year on the percentage of commercial real estate properties and government-owned properties in Utah that currently feature easy-to-read full street addresses----including in luminescent form at nighttime---on permanent display on each side of their property?


I myself sense that the above percentage is far less than 50 percent.


Sgt. Roden, I also sense that you may have been informed this year by some 911 Dispatchers in Utah that private citizen callers' inability to immediately and correctly state the exact street address of a suspected crime or traffic accident or public safety hazard they had witnessed frequently causes life-threatening response-time delays.


It seems to me that the easier it is for vigilant private citizens here in Utah to identify to 911 dispatchers the exact address of an alarming incident observed by the caller, the greater the public safety for all Utahns and visitors to Utah.
