TEXAS'S NEIGHBORING STATE OF NEW MEXICO---WORLD-FAMOUS AS A 'LAND OF ENCHANTMENT'----REPORTEDLY HAS THE HIGHEST HOME-BURGLARY RATE IN THE NATION

Home invasion crimes are among the outrageous felony crimes I despise the most.

Shockingly, it turns out that Texas's neighboring state of New Mexico---a state touting itself to prospective tourists as a "Land of Enchantment"--- has the highest home-burglary rate in the entire nation, according to this copyrighted recent factual account and ranking of states by WorldAtlas.com.
New Mexico's infamous Number One Distinction: 887.3 home burglaries per 100,000 residents in a very recent calendar year.
This factual online April 25, 2017, report for WorldAtlas.com was written by Lanessa Cago. WorldAtlas is owned and operated by Reunion Technology Inc., 100 - 7405 Transcanadienne

The report from Ms. Cago contains the following very tragic statement about New Mexico's state-capital city of Albuquerque:
"Within New Mexico, Albuquerque’s (home) burglary rates are even higher still (than that state's very high overall statewide average home burglary rate). Nonetheless, this trend comes as no surprise to many officials and experts in criminology. According to retired police officer Rep. Paul Pacheco, 'Two major drug arteries run right through Albuquerque. You’ve got I-40 and I-25.'"
