PUBLIC-POLICY QUESTIONS FOR REPUBLICAN PRESIDENTIAL CANDIDATE DONALD TRUMP

Candidate Trump, do you agree that addiction to gambling is a serious and widespread societal problem in American society today?

Do you yourself ever lose any sleep at night from being painfully aware that a high percentage of your patrons at a gambling casino of yours in Atlantic City, New Jersey, developed an addiction to gambling at that casino which cost them many thousands of dollars and considerable emotional trauma?

Do you agree that a President of the United States should be conscientiously devoted to protecting and strengthening the well-being of all American citizens?

Are you proud of the fact that two of the most financially successful industries in the United States, the tobacco and alcohol industries, play a major role in thousands of deaths that occur each year in this country alone?

You have an apparent reputation for being a champion of unbridled capitalism in this country. If you were President of the United States, would you be very proud of the fact that one of the fastest-growing industries in this nation, the tattooing industry, is spawning addictions by many thousands of Americans in which they spend their hard-earned money on a frequent basis to have additional tattoes emblazoned on their own body?

Would you please explain to the voters of this country what exactly is the societally redeeming value of the tattoo-parlor industry in this nation?

Do you have any idea how many Americans spend money in any given year to have permanently removed from their own body a tattoo of theirs they no longer want?

Candidate Trump, when was the last time you lost sleep at nighttime from sensing that you had possibly wronged another human being?

In which ways, if any, do you believe that humility and self-critical aptitude are essential personal attributes in a U.S. President?

Would you please cite the recent occasions when you yourself exhibited the personal attributes of humility and self-critical aptitude in your role this year as a Presidential candidate?

Would you please describe what you believe to be the proper role of statesmanship in the American Presidency?

Mr. Trump, you are no doubt among those Americans who vividly recall what was once dubbed the "Great Kitchen Debate" between then-Vice President Richard Nixon and Russian leader Nikita Kruschev---a 1950s televised mini-debate in which Mr. Nixon declared American society to offer superior consumer products for American households than Russian society offered to Russian households. If you were President today, would you attempt to follow the lead set by Vice President Nixon on that historic occasion by yourself engaging in frequent public debates, and frequent public arguments, with leader of foreign nations?

Some observers of your campaign style have commented on the many occasions in which a comment of yours was so intriguing that it was quoted nationwide and worldwide. Do you as a candidate for President secretly hope that some admirer of yours will compile a "Quotations from Chairman Donald" book that is so popular it sells more copies than "Quotations from Chairman Mao" did several decades ago, in Communist China, during the political reign of Mao Tse-Dung as the chief of state in that foreign nation?

Would you please cite a hypothetical or actual example of conduct by a U.S. President that you yourself would regard as outrageously unethical?

Do you ever verbalize the word "unethical" in your career as a business owner?

Mr. Trump, when was the most recent occasion when you yourself verbalized the word "unethical" in a public speech of yours during the current Presidential Primary campaign?

You have a reputation for being a very enterprising businessman eager to make a deal at all times. If elected to the White House, would you ever attempt to combine your business-deal-making talents with your Presidential duties?

Would you please state which current federal laws, if any, would limit or restrict your own ability in the White House to make business deals for yourself while you are serving as the chief elective officer for this country?

If you were President, would it ever be on the back of your mind that rival real-estate developers and rival realtors who compete with you in your business career might gain a competitive edge over you during your tenure in the White House?

Do you believe the U.S. Government should do more than at present to offer generous financial rewards to enterprising American citizens who come up with brainstorming ideas for our federal government that could be very helpful to our government and to American society? If so, how generous do you believe those federally-sponsored financial rewards to private citizens should be?

Mr. Trump, do you believe that the President of the United States should proceed on the assumption that he represents "the good guys" at all times, while all other nations of this planet represent either "the bad guys" or "the guys who aren't as good or first-rate as we Americans are"?

How would you reconcile your outlook that the United States is in the right, and other countries are in the wrong, with the very alarming fact that an estimated two-thirds of the Global Warming Effect was reportedly caused by Americans and American society?

Do you believe that the Global Warming effect and its accompanying pervasively disastrous effects on our global environment, necessitate major restrictions on conduct by for-profit corporations operating in the United States?

Would you please state for the record how much hard liquor, beer, and wine you personally consume in an average week?

Candidate Trump, has anyone ever told you that you have an alcohol problem?

Do you believe that a person with a current addiction to alcohol should not be permitted to serve as President of the United States?

Would you do anything to limit or restrict consumption of alcohol at federally sponsored events that you yourself might ever attend as President of the United States?

You must be very aware of the "enemies list" that one previous Republican President, Richard Nixon, created during his tenure as our nation's chief of state. At that time, President Nixon's enemies list was denounced by many Americans as being scandalous. Do you feel that media companies such as "The Washington Post" and CBS News were unfair toward President Nixon when they criticized him for establishing an "enemies list" of persons he sought to target for reprisals during his Presidency?

Do you agree or disagree with those who say that a President of the United States should not create or consult an "enemies list" of persons whom that President personally targets for reprisals by that chief of state and his associates?

Also on the subject of "enemies lists," is there any foreign nation the U.S. currently maintains diplomatic ties with, but that you yourself as President would seek to revoke diplomatic recognition for as soon as possible?

You have stated many times that it upsets you greatly when another American citizen whom you consider to be a "VIP" either expresses a lack of support for your candidacy, or strongly opposes your bid for the Presidency. If elected President, do you plan to retaliate against those who opposed you during this campaign, such as by asking the IRS to audit the tax returns of your cited adversaries?

Candidate Trump, you must be very aware that American Mafia dons reveal themselves in part by their habitual identification of anyone who opposes them as being their "hated enemy" whom they seek to then turn into a dead body. Would you please explain to the American people the various ways in which you personally disagree with Mafia dons who believe in full and violent retaliation against those who poses a barrier to them?

What advice would you offer to honorable and law-abiding business owners in New York City who say they were warned by the Mafia that unless they agree to pay a monthly fee to the Mafia, they and their business would be completely ruined, and their own dead body would be dumped into the Hudson River?

Candidate Trump, do you sometimes look upon our national parks as potentially very lucrative real-estate properties for commercial developers, should Congress ever decide to sell those properties to private interests?

If you were elected President, is there any current national park that you might ask Congress to sell to private real-estate developers? If so, which park would that be, and would you present that recommendation of yours to the Congress as a cited step that you believe would help reduce the federal-budget deficit.

Candidate Trump, you have been quoted as saying that many of the male illegal immigrants to the United States from Latin America are "rapists," in your opinion. Regardless of whether your widely-quoted allegation was incorrect and slanderous, as many Americans and Latin Americans have declared, it is noteworthy that your public statement apparently identified sexual assaults as a category of crime that you strongly oppose and seek to prevent.

Mr. Trump, would you please state what your own public-policy strategy is for helping to protect any and all American citizens, regardless of their ethnic or racial or gender background, from ever themselves being sexually assaulted on any occasion anywhere in this entire nation?

Mr. Trump, are you personally aware of any continuous personal-injury-crimes cases currently occurring anywhere in the United States at present that you regard as being scandalous and outrageous? If so, why haven't you reported evidence you've obtained about each of those continuous personal-injury-crimes cases to the Federal Bureau of Investigation?

Does it alarm you to note that a high percentage of American restaurant owners do not offer workers compensation coverage to employees of theirs who sustain an injury inside that restaurant workplace? If elected President, would you seek to help increase the percentage of all restaurant owners who do offer workers comp to their employees, and how would you achieve that cited goal without adding to the already-astronomical federal-budget deficit?

Does it pose a concern to you that the level of participation in recycling of recyclable paper products and plastic products and other recyclable items by the restaurant industry throughout the United States is apparently minimal, even today? If so, how would you as President promote an increase in recycling by restaurant owners throughout this country, and could that goal of yours be achieved without adding to the federal-budget deficit?

Mr. Trump, do you as a private-sector employer offer generous preventive-medicine-minded "wellness" programs to all of your employees, including your part-time employees? If so, do you believe the federal government should do more than it currently does to promote preventive-medicine-style "wellness" plans at as many workplaces as possible?

Do you currently conduct extensive on-site inspections of each of the businesses that you yourself own? If elected President, would you seek to replicate that style in any way? For instance, would you seek to personally visit and inspect each and every federally-owned or federally-supervised workplace in the United States during your first term of office as President?
