A new quiz show featuring generous prizes for participants would help to educate the general public--including children, high school students, and college students---about each of the harmful addictions, along with other addictions, that can either ruin a person's medical health, put them at risk of violating the law, or be very expensive for that individual.
Three or four participants competing for prizes would each be given the opportunity to pose questions to the featured "Guest Addict" that are aimed at identifying which addiction of his or hers is being highlighted during that TV show.
Each show could also feature a visit from an expert on addiction treatment who provides factual information for all viewers about why the cited addiction either is harmful to your health or, in some hypothetical cases of certain types of addictions, is not harmful to your health.
Among the questions panelists might pose:
---Did your addiction ever put you in jail?
---How much money did you spend each month on your addiction?
---How old were you when you first developed that addiction?
---Does your addiction affect your lungs?
---What are the primary medical symptoms from your addiction?
---Have you sought treatment for your addiction?
