Environmental Mandate Against Military Conflict

There may be a need for a new non-profit group that is exclusively devoted to compiling factual evidence on behalf of a cited Environmental Mandate Against War.

It is obvious that our planet is devastated whenever a military conflict occurs. That severe damage to our planet and global environment occurs from massive consumption of fossil fuels by military forces, and by overall damage to the environment resulting from that military conflict.

It is also obvious that the United States of America and U.S. President Barack Obama should assign high priority to helping to strengthen the level of effectiveness of the United Nations in resolving disputes, as much as possible, without any military conflict ever occurring.

There is every hope, too, that when disputes between nations cannot be resolved through negotiations and dialogues in the United Nations, nations will opt for the last resort of filing a lawsuit against another nation in an international court of law. Every ruling in that international court of law can be a victory for peace, and a victory for environmental protection as well as natural-resource conservation.
