Dear Mr. Biden,
I would like to call your attention to the above link to an April 3, 2020, online apparently- 2020-copyright-date "Rolling Stone" magazine article that offers a compelling indictment of President Trump's policies and conduct toward the solar power industry.

"Rolling Stone" is a New York City, New York-based publication.

Mr. Biden, I predict that the following very alarming statement in that article, if it gets publicized in the Presidential campaign, will alienate and infuriate millions of Americans, including many of the Republicans who have expressed doubts about Mr. Trump's level of competence as Chief of State:
"In early 2018, the Trump administration imposed steep tariffs on foreign solar panels. Trump’s tariffs are estimated to have blocked 10.5 gigawatts of solar capacity from coming on line, enough to power 1.8 million homes with carbon-free energy, according to the SEIA. U.S. prices for solar panels are now among the highest in the world."

The same article also contained the following very noteworthy statement about solar power's potential for our country:
"If we have any hope of significantly confronting the climate crisis, solar is a linchpin technology. In the U.S. alone, solar deployment has already reduced carbon output by the equivalent of planting 1.3 billion trees. Mark Jacobson, a professor of engineering at Stanford University, has modeled how America can reach zero emissions by 2050 with massive deployment of existing solar and wind technologies. Following his road map, America would need to install 2,000 gigawatts of solar by 2050 — a huge leap from our current 75 gigawatts of U.S. capacity."

The above "Rolling Stone" article was written by Tim Dickinson. The headline of the above online article I glanced through tonight was: "Trump's War on Solar: Expanding access to renewable energy is the key to a future free of fossil fuels. So why are we moving so slowly?"

Another very influential media company,  "Forbes" magazine---a publication that many Republicans and conservative
Democrats admire-----offers a similarly unflattering online evaluation of President Trump's record on solar power.

The headline for the online "Forbes" article by James Ellsmoor, dated February 24, 2019, states as follows:
"Under Trump's Tariffs, The US Lost 20,000 Solar Energy Jobs". The article, incidentally, presumably had the copyright date of 2019.

All of this suggests that in your campaign speeches and in your televised debates with President Trump, your own superior record on Solar Power will help you persuade millions of currently-undecided voters to choose you over Mr. Trump when they head to the polls on Election Day.

Mr. Biden, I hope this campaign-strategy letter for you and your campaign staff will prove to be helpful to you.

With Friendly Best Wishes,

John Kevin McMillan, a supporter of yours in Austin, Texas.
