November 24, 2019

A respectful FYI to each of you government officials and civic leaders on the following confirmation e-mail reply letter I have received from the City of Austin (last item, below) that the Austin Police Department's public-information office has received my online November 23, 2019, public-information request (first item, below) that is focused on high-ranking APD officer Brian Manley, who is currently the APD Chief, and myself, John Kevin McMillan of Austin.

My November 23-dated online public-information request to APD is seeking:
"a copy of any and all e-mail communications or other written communications that at any time since 7 a.m. April 1, 2011, were generated or written or typed or sent or mailed or received or forwarded or FAXed by Brian Manley of the Austin Police Department, including in his recent role as Interim Police Chief for the City of Austin or in his current role as Police Chief for the City of Austin, or by any staff member employed in the Office of the Chief of Police for the City of Austin, and that, in each such case, refers at least once in any manner to myself, John Kevin McMillan of Austin, Texas.

"Excluded from the scope of this request are any and all e-mail letters that were sent to Brian Manley by myself, John Kevin McMillan of Austin.

"The APD Chief to whom I refer was reportedly listed this year among the 'World's Greatest Leaders' by 'Fortune' Magazine, according to a May 1, 2019-dated KXAN NBC-affiliate television-news-team online news account about that very impressive honor for Chief Manley. He was honored in part because 'Austin boasts the third-lowest rate of violent crime among the 30 biggest U.S. metro areas', the online KXAN news story stated.

"My legal name is John Kevin McMillan. I am a native of Lincoln, Nebraska, and I was born on April 27, 1957. I have resided in Austin proper on a continuous and uninterrupted basis ever since mid-March 1997.

"My primary e-mail address is: mcmillanj@att.net .

"In the period ever since April 1, 2011, I have resided as a rent-paying tenant or rent-paying occupant in or at Apartment 325 of Building 3 at Wind River Crossing Apartments, 11411 Research Boulevard; Room 133 at Crossland Economy Studios, 12621 Hymeadow Road; two different respective apartment units (Apartment 902 in Building 9 and Apartment 1609 in Building 16, respectively) at Village Oaks Apartments, 10926 Jollyville Road; Austin Motor Inn, 11400 North Interstate Highway 35; and, ever since June 21, 2019, in a solo-occupancy (myself, only) efficiency apartment unit in which I am the only official tenant in this second-floor rental unit that is situated in Building 17 at Pebble Creek Apartments, 8805 North Plaza Drive, in north Austin.

"My current home address is: Pebble Creek Apartments, 8805 North Plaza Drive, Apt. 2418, Austin, TX 78753."
