RETIRED TEXAS LIBRARY ASSOCIATION (TLA) EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR PATRICIA H. SMITH, WHOSE E-MAIL ADDRESS SHE USED IN WRITING TO ME ABOUT THIS MATTER WAS AN OFFICIAL TLA E-MAIL ADDRESS , SENDS A POLITE REQUEST TO ME ON APRIL 16, 2018, THAT I PLEASE REMOVE HER E-MAIL ADDRESS FROM MY LIST, SINCE 'I (PATRICIA SMITH) NO LONGER WORK', SHE STATED

(EDITOR's NOTE: I apologize to Patricia H. Smith for having somehow myself failed to immediately remove her e-mail address from the list of cited recipients in my internet service records after she sent me the following (below) April 16, 2018, reply e-mail note in response to an April 16, 2018, carbon-copy of public-policy-minded e-mail correspondence that I had written and sent to Ms. Smith care of the Texas Library Association. Ms. Smith reportedly retired from her position as TLA Executive Director effective June 30, 2017. The TLA, with approximately 7,000 members, is reportedly the nation's largest statewide library association. In accordance with her wishes, which I was reminded of this week when I received a second request from Ms. Smith that I remove her name from my own e-mail recipient listings, I will of course immediately delete the Texas Library Association and any e-mail address apparently referring to the cited Patricia H. Smith from all of my e-mail addresses listings by 2 a.m. Friday, June 22, 2018---JKM)

To: Texas House District 49 State Rep. Gina Hinojosa of the Texas Legislature in Austin, Texas.

Dear Rep. Hinojosa,

Do you support state-mandated increased criminal-law penalties to any and all individuals who are convicted in a court of law in our Lone Star State of having deliberately injured or deliberately harmed the medical health of someone (myself, for instance) in Texas in a context in which the cited victim was either asleep and unconscious or otherwise unconscious?

As a constituent of yours who is myself residing in Texas House District 49, I would appreciate a written reply note from you as soon as possible in response to this urgent and very crucial public-policy issue facing the Texas Legislature.

Thank you in advance, Rep. Hinojosa, for your prompt reply note to me in response to this very important issue that makes a statement to the entire world about whether the Texas Legislature is or is not willing to adequately protect an individual's (including my own) privacy rights and personal safety during periods when he is, in fact, asleep and unconscious and lying on his own designated bed inside his bolt-locked private residence.

Sincerely and Best Wishes,
John Kevin McMillan, a gainfully employed, dependably civil and law-abiding, permanently drinking-alcohol-free, single adult Anglo male constituent of yours who also myself resides in the Austin City Council District 10 section of this state-capital city for Texas.
